What if βmidlifeβ didnβt start at 45β¦ but at 36?
With life expectancy in the U.S. around 72β74, that means real midlife is closer to 36β38. That hit me hard when I thought about it. It made me realize: so many of us wait until βsomedayβ β retirement, when the kids are grown, when life feels more stable β to finally start living, creating, and taking care of our health. But what if weβre waiting so long that we run out of time, energy, or freedom to enjoy it? Iβve seen how weβre trained into the script: school, career, family, house, debt, repeat. And somewhere along the way, creativity, fun, and joy get replaced with stress and survival. But what if we flipped that? What if today was the time to start living fully β to create joy, to color outside the lines, to care for our health and passions now, not later? Question for you:If today is your real life (not the rehearsal), whatβs one thing youβd do differently starting this week?
