Handling Call Forwarding & Transfers
Hey everyone,Iโ€™m running into a call loop issue and wondering if anyoneโ€™s dealt with something similar. Hereโ€™s the setup: - My clientโ€™s main phone number is set to forward all incoming calls to our AI receptionist number. - The AI answers, handles the call, and in some cases needs to transfer the caller back to the clientโ€™s main number. The problem: since that client number is forwarding all calls to the AI number, the transfer just loops back to the AI โ€” essentially creating an infinite loop instead of ringing the clinic. Has anyone found a good workaround for this?Ideally, Iโ€™d like a way for the AI to transfer calls back to the clinic without getting caught in the forwarding rule. Appreciate any tips or examples of how youโ€™ve handled this setup!
