Laathani Ahmed Al Maghribi
Had a small procedure today for my neck and decided to hit em with something nice. This is a blue, leathery, slightly smokey scent that is very very long lasting. I’ve gotten 14 plus hours out this beast with it going strong the whole way. I went four sprays which I think is just enough that’s how potent it is.

Going with Narcisso Rodriguez Bleu noir EDP. Great combination of a clean profile with a prominent powdery iris note off the top. Decent performance for me as the weather is warming up.

This has literally been in my cart for weeks and I keep debating on getting it. I’m needing another summer scent for sure.
Lattafa: Qaed Al Fursan
Today I’m going back to the local pharmacy sale, my last chance to find some goodies. So I decided to give some love to a well known oldie with a beautiful scent profile (Aventus stile) lounged in 2016. I call it “La Piñita” (the little pineapple). It has a photorealistic pineapple smell, literally like cutting it fresh and rubbing its juice over your body. Generally, it’s fruit/sweet, green, woody and ambery. Projection and longevity are average, great for casual/grab and go use. I love it!

I own this as well and it’s a beast of a performer for me. I’ve had friends not believe me when I tell them the price.
Sotd- Oud Maknoon by Swiss Arabian
A sharp peppery opening but not harsh and settle immediately to freshness and earthy a great noticeable in that stag for 10 minutes and that comes rose with syrupy sweetness but not bitterness which projects a loud as well for 1 hour and at dry down musk and oud which i know is accord with amber has a enjoyable sweet and musky woody dry down which is staying hours on skim and on clothes days

I’ll have to look this one up because I really like Swiss Arabian.
Fragrance frenzy
I’ve been a mad man catching up on my wishlist one click at a time, every time I tell myself last one I end up purchasing another. I seriously think I am done for now as I’ve noticed my scent profile shifting and yearning for more substance in my selections. These are some really great pickups and can’t wait to test them out and give full reviews… I’ll tell you not Laathani by Ahmed Al Maghribi is in the lead for sure.

@Lon Chaneyfield I’ve been having the urge to try more designers and of course I want to explore more niche houses. I recently purchased a ton of samples so I’ll enjoy these for now but once the time comes I’ll definitely branch out even further into the never ending fragrance world.

@Jeff Beason you would think this would satisfy the itch for awhile 😅 I need to stay off the wishlist.

I’m enjoying this journey of discovering new scents with hopes of creating my own one day.
