Hey all! Rob Bombard here. I served 6 years active, 2 reserves with the navy as an aircraft mechanic which served me well getting out in the real world. Been working with Collins Aerospace ever since as an Engineering Aide, currently part of a small group designing, building, and testing special test equipment for aircraft engine controllers. As Dave knows, the door of opportunity opened for me to start a coffee shop here in Middlebury, CT on April 1st and it’s been a hustle ever since. The shop is called Middlebury Coffee Company and we’re still in the building process which most of it is being bootstrapped by me. It’s been a hell of ride so far and huge learning curve being my first time starting a business but it’s already taught me more than money can buy and I’m excited to see the outcome. As many of you may know once you’ve overcome one obstacle another one arises. Im juggling many obstacles at once but currently trying to figure out payroll, workman’s comp and anything of that nature so we can start hiring employees. Also looking for some suppliers to get inventory cups, straws, etc anything of that nature. If anyone has any feedback please feel free to share it! Glad to be part of this community!!
