What books do you recommend for business?
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: Enjoyable read or audible book. Funny and sets perspective in life. How to Win Friends and Influence People: Classic and great to teach about communication with people. Nail it Then Scale it: Great business book for nailing the business model then scaling. Buy Then Build: Is a good book if you are looking to purchase an existing business. Crossing the Chasm: Tech based but can be for a company hitting flat sales after a successful launch. The 4-Hour Work Week: Are you looking to escape your W-2 job and start an owner absentee model? (I have more but these were my favorites this year)

Are you a disabled veteran?
We just launched a cohort for people interested in using the VR&E Self-Employment track to help pay start-up costs for your business. This is a VA program and you may be eligible. There are others on in this community who have received funding to purchase equipment, software, tools, inventory, etc.... They will not buy a vehicle, give cash for operating capital, or buy property/pay rent. If you are interested, reply "Interested" in the comments and you will be invited to the private cohort where you can learn more about it.

@Darin Day You have access now to the course. I'll be working on another video this week to post, but feel free to see what is there. You can drop any comments or questions in this chat here.

@Brigitte Peters Simple answer is, it needs to be a new business. With that said, I had my 4th "new business" approved when I went through. Maybe when your husband gets out, you spin up company to compliment yours.

@Rick Ellsey it is a daily simple and free AI agent. Like anything free just pay attention to what information you give it. I have it looking at my e-book and coming a couple of the websites I have for information. Nothing personal.

@Marvina Wilkes there are other alternatives but it is something that takes time to train it. Mine is still a work in progress.
This weeks trainings are moved to Friday
Hi VBC, I needed to move the trainings scheduled today. I'm presenting as a panelist for Small Business Week, regarding Veteran Small Business Resources. I will be on the road all day. Sorry for the inconvenience. The trainings are moved until Friday. Come prepared with any business questions you have. Cheers
