IMO. The worst marketing decision ARX ever made was making you require a subscription to use it properly. I’ve never had a better more intense workout than on one of these. But the person who had it did not keep it because of the subscription model. Nothing come close to a set on an ARX.

Good idea to put some none business related stuff from others in the HIT community on here. It caters to OGs like me who stay subscribed for this type of content.
Rep Cadence or Set Duration
Whats your go to when training yourself or your clients. Do you focus on rep Cadence say a 5-5 or 10-10 or is it solely a focus on set duration example 60s set 90s set 120s set. Are there trainers that just focus on set duration and if you get 1 or 2 extra reps next time you add more weight? I normally focus on both cadence and set duration for myself and my clients. Typically I use a 5-5 Cadence with either 60 second set or 90 seconds. This gives us 6rp and 9rp sets. Interested in what others maybe using.

When I help out people I aim for them to get around 90 seconds of TUL. Then I asked them to do a so slow controlled rep at their own pace. If they do a 2-2 = 4 sec rep. 80 sec I would then have them do 20 rep sets. If they do 6-6 = 12 sec rep. = 84 sec. I would have them do 7 rep sets. This way the client can do reps at their own « naturally » controlled speed. They don’t have to focus on a timer, counting in their head or whatever. I find this makes it easier for people to adhere. The only time I intervene is if they do 1-1… Momemtum is a no go ! :)
One more machine
I have room in my garage for one more machine. I am requesting thoughts and reasoning for what that machine might be. Present machines are: MedX leg press MedX chest press MedX overhead press MedX row Cybex pulldown Hammer multi squat Hammer 4 way neck Reverse hyperextension 45* trunk extension Rouge Echo bike A place for abdominal exercises Not planning on purchasing until last quarter of this year. Any thoughts appreciated!! Thanks!

@Jeffrey Shaw Yep, barbells and dumbbells. For dumbbells, power blocks or something similar.
HIT interview with Blain Duesing
I find this interview excellent to give an easy explanation of HIT for anyone who’s hearing about it for the first time. Blain does not over complicate the topic and gives relatable examples. https://youtu.be/L43emJNw71o?si=ajNukKV81bNKBuIP
