3 Self-Publishing Tools I Use Over and Over Again 📚
If you're planning to publish your own book, these are three tools that have become part of my workflow. Each one solves a different problem and can save you a lot of time. 1️⃣ Publisher Rocket This is one of the most valuable tools I own. I use it throughout the entire publishing process—not just at the beginning. It helps me: - Research profitable book ideas - Find relevant Amazon keywords - Choose categories - Identify backend keywords - Research keywords for Amazon Ads If you're serious about publishing on Amazon, this is a tool you'll use again and again. 🚀GET PUBLISHER ROCKET HERE 2️⃣ Atticus Formatting your first book can feel intimidating, but Atticus makes it much more approachable. It's beginner-friendly, creates professional-looking interiors, and makes it possible to format your own book without hiring someone else. It's important to know its limitations, though. If you're creating a highly graphic book, workbook with complex layouts, or something that requires a lot of custom design, you'll probably want different software. But for most standard high-content books, Atticus does an excellent job. 🐶 GET ATTICUS HERE 3️⃣ Grammarly No matter how you write your book—yourself, with a ghostwriter, or using AI—there's always a messy middle. Grammar mistakes, awkward wording, repeated phrases, and punctuation issues happen to everyone. Grammarly helps clean all of that up before your manuscript reaches readers. It's one of those tools that quietly improves the quality of your work. 📝 GET GRAMMARLY HERE 💬 What publishing tools are on your "can't live without" list? Share them below—you might help another author discover their new favorite resource!

Accountability Time ⏲️
We could all use a little accountability - Including myself ❤️ Read the questions then grab the template at the bottom and make a post 🗒️ 1️⃣ What is **one specific thing** you completed on your book this week? Examples: * Finalized my book topic * Chose my main keyword + category * Wrote 1,200 words * Edited Chapter 1 * Uploaded my manuscript draft 2️⃣ What is the one thing you can commit to finishing by next week? Examples: * Write 2 chapters * Finish book outline * Draft my book description * Collect 10 competitor book screenshots 3️⃣ One blocker - What slowed you down or got in your way this week? This gives you: * Content ideas * Coaching opportunities * Workshop themes * DM conversations for higher-level support 4️⃣ Where are you at right now? 🔥 On track 🟡 Progress but slow 🔴 Stuck 🧠 Overthinking ⏸️ Life happened Drop your update below 👇 (Keep it short — progress > perfection) 1️⃣ **One thing you completed this week:** 2️⃣ **One thing you’re committing to finish next week:** 3️⃣ **Any blocker slowing you down? (optional)** 4️⃣ **Status emoji:** 🔥 🟡 🔴 🧠 ⏸️ I’ll be reviewing these to and helping to move you forward!

What Makes This Community Different
I started my self-publishing journey at the end of 2022, and in June of 2024 I launched this community with one simple mission: to teach people how to publish their own books. I know that many of us get started because we're looking for another source of income, a way to build our business, or a way to create something that continues working for us long after it's published. But when you're just starting out, spending thousands of dollars to hire a publishing company often isn't realistic. That's why I wanted to create a place where you could learn the entire process yourself. Just because I offer affordable coaching and support doesn't mean I lack publishing experience. Over the past few years, I've published more than 12 books that have collectively generated six figures in royalties—all while working a full-time job. So yes...it is absolutely possible. The biggest hurdle isn't writing ten books. It's finishing your first one. Your first book proves to yourself that you can do it. Once you've gone through the publishing process one time, the next book becomes easier. Then you start improving your writing, your marketing, your systems, and your confidence. Every book teaches you something new. I love seeing that happen inside this community. @Gale Bates is already published multiple books. @Pat Terrell is writing another. @Nick Nebelsky Continues expanding his catalog. They're doing it because they learned the process and kept going, they are now in scaling mode because they see what books can quietly do for them. If your book isn't finished yet, don't quit. Keep working through the course. Ask questions. Lean on the community. Finish that manuscript. Then take the next step. That's exactly what this community is here for. If you're ready for more accountability and support, my Premium membership includes step-by-step guidance, a supportive community, weekly group coaching calls, plus direct DM and Loom access to me whenever you get stuck.

This was a solid line "The biggest hurdle isn't writing ten books. It's finishing your first one." You need to put that on a shirt.
Congrats Pat! Let's Make Your Book Stand Out!
Huge shout out to @Pat Terrell , author of How to Be Sure of Heaven! This week I'll be working on an Amazon influencer shoppable video review of her book. Once it goes live, I'll be sharing it here in the community too. I'm also opening up this same opportunity to you. For the month of July 🇺🇸, I'm running this promotion for just 💰$50 (this includes the cost of me ordering your book). The price will be going up after this month, so if you want a spotlight in the community and on Amazon, now's the time to grab your spot. A quick note on what this actually is: A shoppable video is not the same as a customer review. It won't add another review to your book. Instead, it tags a video directly to your book's description page on the desktop experience. It can also earn placements on other pages across Amazon, which means more traffic and more eyes finding their way to your book. ORDER YOUR BOOK INFLUENCER REVIEW VIDEO HERE

Your First Book Shouldn't Take a Year.
🧩 I've noticed a pattern in this community. A lot of people join because they genuinely want to become an author... but many never actually start writing. So I'm curious... What's stopping you? Is it because writing a book feels overwhelming? Like there's just too much content to create? If that's you, I want to let you in on something. If you're already a coach, creator, consultant, business owner, or even someone who regularly shares your knowledge online, you're probably sitting on a goldmine of content already. ✅ Social media posts. ✅ Blog articles. ✅ Email Newsletters. ✅ Videos Lessons ✅ Podcast episodes. ✅ Presentations. Your client questions. You don't have to start from a blank page. In fact, one of the smartest ways to write a book is by repurposing the knowledge you've already created. This is also where AI becomes an incredible assistant—not to write your book for you, but to help you organize everything you've already made. Upload your existing content, ask AI to identify common themes, group similar ideas together, and help build a logical chapter outline. Suddenly, that mountain of content becomes a clear roadmap. But here's something even more important... Mindset is everything. If you constantly tell yourself you'll write your book "someday," someday usually never comes. If you're serious about becoming an author, it's time to turn down the outside noise. Stop comparing yourself to other people. Stop waiting until you feel like an expert. Stop believing you need everything to be perfect before you begin. Every published author started with a blank page. The difference is they decided to keep going. And remember... publishing a book isn't just about selling copies. A book can open doors to speaking opportunities, coaching clients, consulting work, media interviews, partnerships, and opportunities you can't even predict today. It establishes credibility in a way few other assets can. So let me ask you... 🔥 Are you fired up to finally make this happen?
