Apples
Do apples have a significant place in your 811 regimen ? Do you eat them often, especially in winter ? It did for me in the beginning of my transition, but I noticed for the last three years that I consume them less and less. To the point that today I cannot imagine making a mono meal of apple, as I find usually myself more hungry at the end of the meal than before, and they provoke almost always some kind of stomach ache. At best it is a little snack nowadays... It's far from being a sub-tropical/tropical fruit, maybe that's the reason ? I only go for good organic ones of course, as it's one of the worst spayed fruit. I've also noticed Doug doesn't mention it once in the week of eating examples of the 801010 book. What is your experience ?

@Lisa Stevens I love the cosmic, but from here on out, I am peeling them. No organics around here.

@Daniel Kinyon that’s a sign of real determination and dedication. I think that’s grrrreat!
Feeling healthy?
Are you feeling as healthy as you would like to feel? Are you satisfied, or are you striving? What needs to change for you to make progress towards your goals? I'd love to see people sharing more of such conversations here. Please feel free to chime in.

@Barbara Whitney , I wish I had seen this earlier. Good for you, getting right back up! I think we all know this feeling. I’m redetermined, as well. Sending you good juju!
“Issues”
Issue #1: Salt. I stopped sprinkling salt, of course quite a while back. However, I still crave it on salads, in my homemade dressings. Therefore, Ive had “seasons” in my raw food life when I’ve delved into Spanish olives or Bragg’s liquid aminos added to my salads. I keep wondering is there a “middle ground.” Probably the parasites wondering 🤣🤣🤣 Issue #2: “Fat” Portions. I’m really trying to nail down, through my own practice of 811, the perfect portions when I use Tahini or avocados. I know. I know. Ten percent. But getting to what that looks like is tough for me. I do need to get this down before helping others to learn the “how’s” of 811. I don’t know what I expect anyone to say, but thanks for listening, as I’m moving forward. Again, glad to be in the 811 community with YOU. Be well. ☺️

@Raphael Resch , well that’s encouraging! I’m gonna continue to not add salt. You are mentioning sodium in tahini. You are speaking of “naturally occurring,” I gather.

@Rachel Green never heard of samphire. I’m about to Google that. Interesting. And guess what I’m gonna do this evening. Squeeze lemon on crusty. Sounds so good! Thx ☺️
Aural Orgasms!
Aural orgasms! Pun intended! i'v been going to sound healing for an hour every week as the 1st hour of ecstatic dance. Incredible! Everyone should experience this. It is truly amazing. Like feeding your sense of hearing to the aural equivalent of the best raw vegan feast you've ever had! And I'm convinced that dance is one of the best ways to extend your energetic and healthy life way beyond the average span

Love today’s message from Dr. D!
In the email this morning, entitled, “How do you Give Enlightenment?“ Dr. D. gave the following suggestion, which is so opposite of what I see on social media these days. The meme illustrates it perfectly — haha! Anyway, I appreciate his grounded and sensible approach, and wanted to highlight it here. He says: “Allow your successful raw journey shine on its own, with no need for you to toot your own horn or try to give enlightenment to others. Make it obvious that you are enjoying your raw life, your enhanced awarenesses, the extra energy, easy weight management, excellent digestion, and everything else. When your way of doing things seems appealing enough, others will want to try it, and people will come to you asking you to teach them.“
Love today’s message from Dr. D!
