Question about food combining
Would you eat honeydew melon and papaya at the same meal? (I guess the answer is "no", but I want to be sure). Thanks.

No problem ! Maybe start with the melon, followed buy the papaya. But if you have enough of either one, make a meal out of it and leave the other for later ;) I miss papayas from the tropics... I could make one big meal of it a day for the rest of my life.
Getting Up at Night to Pee – Normal or Something to Adjust?
Hi everyone, I wanted to get your thoughts on nighttime urination. Lately, I’ve been getting up once (sometimes twice) at night to pee, which didn’t really happen before. At the same time, I’m also much more hydrated now, especially because eating fruits and vegetables contains a lot of water. I’ve heard two different perspectives on this. One is that if we urinate around 8–12 times a day on average, then statistically it makes sense that nighttime would sometimes be included—especially if we’re going every 2–2.5 hours. The other perspective is about sleep cycles: apparently, we don’t wake up because we need to pee, but rather we become aware of the need to pee when we’re already in a lighter sleep phase. So in that sense, it may not be as disruptive as it sounds. I’m curious how you experience this. Is it normal or “okay” for you to get up once or twice per night? Or do you actively try to avoid it, for example by eating earlier or adjusting fluid intake in the evening? How do you personally handle this? Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

I do as well go one or two times, depending on the time between dinner and going to bed. But I usually sleep about 9 hours ; so it splits it in half. Sorry if you find it gross, but I keep a pee pot in the bedroom and the whole operation takes about 1 min before I go back to bed and fall asleep right away. Doesn't bother me at all !! If I happen to eat a lot too close to bed time I might go more than 2 times and it disturbs my sleep indeed.
Where are you in the World?
Hello :) I am originally from Bulgaria - this is my home town - Vratsa - west-north Bulgaria. The picture is from there. Now I am in Malaysia :) Greetings from Klang, around 40 min drive from Kuala Lumpur :) What about you? Is anyone planning a trip to Malaysia or Bali in near future :)))

@Denis Adigüzel canaries are not the best place unfortunately ! Andalousia is better but it gets a little chill in winter and even cold in the mountains. The fruit is great there. I’d say you should look into Central America for a fruity retirement !

Water ?!
I'm a bit puzzled about the statements of some low fat raw vegans (no names here !) regarding the consumption of water : 1 Very few don't consume any water 2 Some trust their thirst and drink when needed 3 Others state that we need water until our gut gets cleaned out of its "dry waste matter", and then the need wanes. 4 Others advocate for a gallon of water a day, as a bare minimum when we eat raw, going up to 2 gallons if we eat cooked food. I lend in the 2nd category, as I tend to drink > 2L during summer and hot days, and about 1L in the cold month of winter. I do urinate about 10 times a day, clean and good amounts, so I guess I should consider myself hydrated ? Is it true that the more we go into the lifestyle, the better hydrated will our body be, and our external water need lessen ? How can it be that we'd need a GALLON a day ? Do our digestive track need that much to work properly ? What would be adverse effects of drinking too much water ? Should we bypass thirst and drink more than what it tells us ? And lastly, what is your personal experience with water consumption ?

@Trayce Pjirrou Plus celery is one of the bad ones in terms of fertilizers and chemicals...

@Trayce Pjirrou Man you were 31 years into raw veganism at the time I wrote that post. I can't believe two years have already passed... I went to the tropics for the first time this year. I could not imagine not having water, as I was sweating a lot anytime I'd go for a hike. Any intake of durian was especially followed by a lot of water in the next hours. Maybe one day I'll feel that I don't need water. Drinking water definitely don't have the same effect as "eating" water.
Greens
Hey everybody, I have a question about greens. Do you sometimes only have cucumber/zucchini or other type of vegetables? I am used to have some sort of green everyday like lettuce, arugula, spinach etc but tonight, I am only having zucchini noodles and broccoli with some tomatoes, celery and hemp seed sauce and I don’t feel to have a salad aside. Is it important to have leafy greens everyday? Or does cucumber, zucchini, celery and other vegetables count too? Enjoy!

I think it definitely counts. As I've understood, all the kitchen vegetables (hence the cucumbers, tomato, zucchinis, squashes etc...) count as "greens". It is a bit counter intuitive. I eat proper leaves maybe 4 days a week, the others I just have cucumbers/celery in general.
