Wisdom to Understand
Behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest. —Genesis 28:15 When Jesus uttered His words of comfort in the first few verses of the fourteenth chapter of John’s gospel, concluding with, “And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know” (John 14:4), Thomas said unto Him, “Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?” (John 14:5). Jesus answered him with a statement which has in it the ring of eternity. It was sublimely simple and yet profoundly deep. Its surface meaning was clear to all, and yet the great theologians have never completely sounded its mighty depths. This is that statement, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). In one majestic sweep, these words silenced Thomas’ questioning tongue and brought reassurance and peace to the hearts of the other disciples. Within the marvel of that authoritative sentence from the lips of the Son of God, there was enough comfort to assuage the sufferings of the tormented, enough wisdom to satisfy those who yearned for understanding, and enough power to set the great Christian movement in motion. Prayer for the day Knowing You are with me is all the comfort I need, Lord.

Have you noticed in those words and in scripture how it can help calm your nervous system? If you think about it the more we turn inwards the more peace we find regardless of what you choose to believe 🙏🏾
Holy Shit!
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and it named something I've been circling for years: the reason I can see ideas before everyone else but can't turn them into something sustainable isn't a discipline problem. It's a brain architecture mismatch. Also, the compassion I'd give my first-grade self? Apparently that's exactly what I need to aim at myself right now.

Wow Jill this is huge!!! How does it feel and what will you do next with this information? Looks like you have gone straight to the root cause which is amazing 🤩 looking forward to see what is next for you 🎊🙏🏾
Scaffolding
Just finished all 3 sections of my ADHD Snapshot and realized something I'd never connected before: every task standing between me and the independent career I want isn't the actual work. It's the invisible scaffolding (systems, website, taxes) that my brain resists most. The thing I'm great at and the thing that terrifies me are separated by exactly the tasks ADHD makes hardest.

Powerful ✊🏾 so what is the next micro step to make your system get onboard and resist less? The smalles the step the easier it becomes to take action
week 4 -Belatedly
Just did the Identity Transformation worksheet and it hit different. I realized my whole life I've been "earning" my right to exist - saying yes to everything, squeezing more into less time, never being still. The survival identity I built as a kid kept me safe, but at 68 I can finally see the cost. The belief I'm releasing: that I need to do something in order to be enough. The truth I'm stepping into: I already am. Breathwork ceremony is next. Ready to let my body catch up.

Introduction
Hello fellow ADDers! Looking forward to this challenge. I was officially diagnosed with ADHD at 41 (now 61). Life continues to be a challenge, but my understanding of myself (neurodivergent) and others (neurotypical) is much clearer.

Hey Jim welcome to the community. Prepare yourself to be challenged and stretched yet supported and seen by people with similar beautiful brains 🧠 once you make it your friend all kinds of paths will open up. You have to do the work though. I was diagnosed at 53 all of a sudden things made sense and I could settle and not fight and run to fit in anymore
