🌙 Ramadan Day 4 — Responsibility, Reality & Self-Compassion
Daily Journal 📓 | Growth & Accountability Sunday I am learning to balance responsibility, health, and ibadah with honesty. This Ramadan, I choose self-compassion over self-guilt while continuing to show up, InshaAllah. 🎯 Daily Goals Primary Goal: - Fulfill orders and client responsibilities properly Secondary Goals: - Maintain connection with Quran - Manage energy without forcing productivity 🛏️ Sleep Log - Slept at: Late night (physically exhausted) - Woke up at: 4:00 AM (for Sehri), then 10:00 AM 📊 Weekly Focus Reminder - Responsibilities come with barakah when intention is right. - Salah awareness needs better time planning - Rest is part of sustainability - Journaling is for awareness, not judgment 🔔 Daily Reminders - Missing once doesn’t mean failing - Allah values effort, not perfection - Discipline also includes listening to the body 🧠 Key Highlights of the Day - 4:00 AM: Woke up - Sehri: Done - Fajr: Missed due to sleep (felt guilt) - 10:00 AM: Woke up, started laptop & replied to DMs - Late Morning: Shower - Kitchen Work: Cut vegetables for orders - 1:30 PM: Zohar prayer - 2:00 PM: Went to market for order-related items - 3:30 PM: Returned home - 5:00 PM: Prepared, packed & delivered order - Asar: Prayer - Post-Asar: Read Quran until Iftar - 6:00 PM: Iftar - Maghrib: Prayer - Evening (Low-Energy, Personal Time): - Decorated home & kitchen for myself Made lavashak (imli sheet) for fun - Fixed wall clock - Night: Extremely tired, went to bed Isha & Taraveeh: Missed due to exhaustion (felt guilt) ✅ Reflection Today was heavy with physical responsibility and fatigue. I missed some prayers, and the guilt was real, but so was the effort I put into fulfilling commitments and staying connected with Quran. This day taught me that energy management and prayer planning need improvement, not self-punishment. Tomorrow, I aim to structure rest better so ibadah doesn’t suffer. Alhamdulillah 🤍
