Which Skool first?! Free or Paid, or Both?
I spoke with Mustafa Ali, who's got 7000 subscribers on YouTube, and he also has an email list of 2500. He teaches how to move into a foreign country (Oman, Dubai, Arabic countries), how to get a visa, how to invest there, buy properties, open a company, etc… He tells me how having a Skool membership is an awesome opportunity for him to monetize his audience! He tried a few other things before, but now he discovered Skool! He asked me which Skool to begin with first, a free community or a paid one! Or both! In the video below, we discuss how should someone go about it! - Why it’s important to begin with a paid one first - How having a free community can help a lot - How to potentially begin with both at the same time (and why in some cases you shouldn’t begin with both at the same time - it can be overwhelming to handle 2 at the same time) I suggest everyone to begin with a paid one first! Building a paid membership first gets you paid! And just out of social media audience and an email list you can easily get the first 10-20 members signed up to start running your paid membership! But having a Free Community as well helps a lot with lead generation, and warming people up! In quite a few cases it’s possible to launch both at the same time as well! For example, if you know that you need 2-3 weeks to prepare a course for the paid Skool membership, you could already open a Free community today at first, and get some people into it, and start interacting with them. People coming to the free community would be answering the 3 questions. This would build you an E-mail list, and one of the questions would also ask them “If they are interested in knowing more about the private support group and weekly calls?!” Which is all part of the paid membership! This would generate leads for you, who you can then talk to and sign up into a paid membership! In the video recording we also cover the following: - Free content vs Paid membership content - How to create a simple course for your paid membership
