Have you noticed the giant leaps in AI models?
Hey everyone! Have you been keeping up-to-date with the latest generation of AI models? If you HAVEN'T, then I recommend checking them out - they are insane to be honest - I'm talking Claude Opus 4.5, Gemini 3.0, GPT 5.1 etc. Has huge implications for how we will work in the future. I'm just figuring out the best workflows for implementing these models in Fabric workflows, I'll share more of my thinking and research in the following weeks/ months, but I'm interested - have you been keeping up-to-date with the LLM updates? Have you been thinking about how to integrate into Fabric - let me know what you've found so far!

I really do use them when working with projects. Research + AI, either will save the day for me.
New Feature Update in Data Pipelines.
We now have the option to pass T‑SQL queries for Lakehouse (LH) tables in both Lookup and Copy activities within data pipelines. This enables more flexibility in filtering and transforming data during pipeline execution, and additionally, each Lakehouse table now gets a unique URL to preview data, making it easier to share and validate datasets across teams.

@Pavan Kumar Thank you for the updates, too!
DP-700 Passed… but What’s Next?👀
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some guidance on my next steps. I’ve been working as a BI Developer for about a year and a half, and my learning path has been very focused on Microsoft Fabric. So far, I’ve completed the PL-300 → DP-600 → DP-700 (the last one just a few days ago — yay! And btw, Will, thanks a lot! Your guide was extremely helpful🤝). Now I’m trying to decide what I should tackle next, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you think will continue to be most relevant in the Microsoft/Fabric ecosystem in the coming years?I’m considering several options, but I’m still not fully convinced about which direction to take: - Should I continue with an AI-related certification? https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/credentials/certifications/azure-ai-fundamentals/?practice-assessment-type=certification - Take the AZ-900 to strengthen my Azure fundamentals? https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/credentials/certifications/azure-fundamentals/?practice-assessment-type=certification - Is Microsoft planning to release any new Fabric-focused certifications worth aiming for? - Or would it make more sense to start exploring other complementary technologies? Any perspectives or recommendations in this space would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙌

@Akrem Zaghdoudi Not Zahira (🙃😀) but most people have progressed from PL-300 > DP-600 > DP-700. DP-600 and 700 tend to overlap.
Career Shift Update
I’ve been pretty quiet the past couple of months because I’ve been deep in Python, AI engineering skills, while staying steady with Fabric. I’m grateful to share that I’ve accepted the Senior AI Engineering role at my institution — something I’ve been working toward relentlessly since January. Thanks to everyone who shares their work here; it’s been a huge part of how I’ve kept moving.

Parameters in Notebooks
When passing parameters in notebooks, do not add quotes, the pipeline will run, but will not work as expected. Again, Fabric generates the parameters you passed with the quotes. I faced this problem for a while and thought it would be best to share and save someone's day!
