🎭 Let’s Talk Personality Types 🎭
Here’s a fun one for today! Personality tests can be such an interesting way to learn more about yourself, and sometimes they even help explain the patterns we run in life. So I’m curious…👉 Have you ever done a personality type test before? Some of the popular ones are: - Myers-Briggs (MBTI) — the 16 personality types - Enneagram — 9 core motivations - DISC — behavioural styles - Love Languages — how we give and receive love - Human Design — a mix of astrology, chakras, and energy Which ones have you tried? And if you know your type, share it below — let’s see how diverse our community is!

My BA is in Psychology and my MA is in Counselor Education so I've done many of the personality tests - we had to take them. When I was a Counselor (Behavioral Science Specialist - 91G) in the Army (1973-1976 active duty), we used the MMPI (Minnesota Multi Personality Inventory) - a 567 Question test that we gave to clients. I think they are all fun and have some basis in "truth" but I don't put all my confidence in any of them - I think our Intuition often gives us a better "picture" - I always trusted my "Inner Guidance" with clients/patients than in any test.
🎬 Let’s Talk Favourite Series! 🎬
This group is all about learning, healing, and growing — but fun and connection matter too. So let’s kick off this section with something light. 👉 What’s the best series you’ve watched recently, and where did you find it (Netflix, Stan, Prime, Disney+, free-to-air, etc.)? We all love a good binge now and then — so share your recommendations! You never know, your favourite might just become someone else’s next obsession. I’ll start in the comments… now it’s your turn!

🎶 Let’s Raise the Vibe With Music!
Music is one of the fastest ways to shift our vibration. It can lift us out of a low mood, calm a racing mind, or spark joy when we need it most. Today, let’s make a community playlist — the songs that lift you, move you, and help you step into a higher frequency. Here are two of my go-to’s when I need to change my energy fast:✨ Happy – Pharrell Williams (1-hour version) — instant smiles, every time.✨ 888 Hz Abundance Gate — perfect for clearing energy and opening your vibration to abundance. We’re not talking sad breakup songs here — we’re talking about the ones that make you feel alive. The tracks that lift you up, shift your thinking, and remind you that you’re powerful. 💬 Drop your favourites below — what’s your go-to song or playlist when you know it’s time to move through an emotion and rise higher? Let’s build a “Change Makers Vibe List” together.

@Lorene Roberts When COVID started and we had to close our church and the Duplicate Bridge Club I played in had to stop meeting, I started a daily email that I sent out to all my friends in each of those groups and to a few other folks and smaller groups I met with - about 100 folks (I continued to do this even after the "lockdown" ended for about 4 years) - it consisted of a song that I got from YouTube and some cute things from FB and whatever else was fitting for the day. If it was a Holiday I got information from the History site to post and the song was appropriate to the day. Over those years I discovered hundreds (maybe even thousands) of songs I'd never heard of - it was wonderful. I love technology! My emails were "interactive" - people responded to the group through them and it kept us connected which is why I continued for so long afterword. I was Divinely Guided to start doing it and when it was time to close, it happened slowly - I was guided to go to weekly, then to special occasions, and now to hardly ever - but it was a really fun thing to do and almost everyone loved it.
What Words Do You Come Back to When Life Gets Noisy?
Sometimes life gets loud, too many thoughts, worries, and things happening all at once. When that happens, a few simple words can help us feel calm again. It might be something like “Just breathe,” “You’ve got this,” or “Let it go.”These words are like anchors, they help us steady ourselves when everything around us feels like a storm. Everyone has different words or phrases that help them feel grounded or safe inside. So let’s share some ideas and help each other build a little list of reminders we can all come back to. What words or affirmations do you say to yourself when things feel hard or uncertain?

My "come back to" words are usually, "Remember to breathe" because whenever we get off track, the first thing that happens is our breathing changes and we shallow breathe. And if it is a seemingly "negative" situation my first reaction or response is, "Thank you God, Thank you, God, Thank you God; only Good can Come from This, Only Good Can Come From This, Only Good Can Come From This" while remembering to breathe - and turning it over to God/Source/the Universe.
