Wednesday Live Sessions
I really need to tap into these. I just so happen to click in early this morning to see what’s up with this awesome community and I see KJ has a class starting soon….and from the looks of the calendar, he has a live session every Wed at this timeπŸ‘€πŸ˜³β£οΈβ£οΈβ£οΈ

Yes do it! I was on the Wed AM class by myself for months with KJ. I'm currently working skate camp 3 days a week so unable to attend.
Cleaning wheels
Hey all! I was wondering what methods or materials you find most effective & safe for your wheels. I tried Fantastik all purpose cleaner after a recommendation since the tried & true windex or hot soapy water wasn’t cutting it. It worked far better but I am concerned about noxious chemicals affecting the longevity of my wheels. Isopropyl alcohol is almost as effective but I am curious how β€œsafe” it is on wheels. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

New plates question. πŸ€”
Should you get a new boot when getting new plates? I've always wanted to get the Arius plate but don't know if I can slap em on my existing boot or not. Wouldn't want to finally get the dang thing but then not be able to use it till I can afford a new pair of boots. πŸ˜…

I think it would be possible to change the plate out but it might depend on the how well the mounting hardware lines up on the boot.
Weakness on one side
Hi all, I’ve gone right back to basics and realised doing forward and backward bubbles I’m not so strong on my left side and the rights doing the majority off the work. Tried to really focus on making sure my left foot was working as hard as the right and found bubbles suddenly really hard. Does anyone have any pointers on what I can do to even things out?

@Corey Xavier hmmm πŸ€” If you are applying more pressure with the right then you would be turning. It's not uncommon to have a lopsided stride at the beginning; more comfortable and trust in one leg. With practice, drills, and strengthening it all usually sort out.

@Corey Xavier there's always a non that's playing catch up πŸ˜‚
Truck adjustment
So I see all over about loosening/tightening trucks. But honestly I don’t know if I should or how they should feel. I just got the Roll Line Mistral plates and they have blue cushions (idk if they are all blue or not) but aside from that I don’t know what I’m looking for. Is it that they should be looser to turn better? Also remember I’m fairly new skater. Going into 6 months (woo hoo!) so take that into consideration whilst answering lol!

If you are going to experiment with loosening your trucks just do so about a quarter turn at a time.
