A couple things that helped me was, doing the Michael Jackson toe stands, and trying to hold the as long as I could off skates. When holding it for 10 secs got easy, i put the skates on with a support , and did the same as with skates off. This got me used to going up on my toes, and being able to control how high I wanted to go. Once I was completely in control; I started to incorporate small twists like a 1/4 turn. Before I knew it i was turning completely 180. Just remember to turn backwards use your toe manuals , and to turn forward use your heel manuals. Once your completely comfortable, and now your trying to roll with it always have a lead foot , and turn in the direction opposite of the lead foot.
