Why December Is a Secret Weapon for Property Investors 🎯
Most people mentally check out in December.Investors check in.While the market looks quiet on the surface, underneath it’s one of the most powerful times to move if you know what you’re doing. Here’s why 👇 1️⃣ Less CompetitionThe majority of investors pause:“I’ll start in January”“The market’s slow”“It’s Christmas”That means fewer calls being made, fewer viewings booked, and fewer offers going in.Less noise = more visibility for you. 2️⃣ More Motivated LandlordsDecember landlords are often:Tired of voidsFed up with managing tenants over the holidaysWanting stability before the new yearThey don’t want promises. They want solutions and this is where Serviced Accommodation strategies shine. 3️⃣ Faster DecisionsWith fewer enquiries and a desire to “sort things before January,” decisions happen quicker. Less back-and-forth. Less ego. More “Let’s just get this done.” This is why some of the best deals are agreed when others are distracted. 💡 Big Lesson:Property rewards those who act when others hesitate.Momentum built in December compounds into January, February, and beyond. You don’t win by timing the market perfectly. You win by staying in the game when others step out.

Assets For Life Awards Dinner
Well, what an incredible evening was had last night as the AFL awards dinner. Such an inspiring room full of like minded, hard working individuals all led, taught and nurtured by the great team at AFL. This year has been a game changer for us, and joining the Commercial Conversion bootcamp back in June was the pivot that changed everything. Mark Stokes and Nigel Green bring so much experience to the table, steer us in the right path when maybe we fall off the pavement. Wow, what a team! And Georgia for being so patient with us!! 🤭 Liam inviting us to appear on one of his podcasts, well that another level of wow..!! And then this happened…. Not one, but 4 awards. We cannot thank the team at AFL enough for their support and for recognition of the blood, sweat and maybe a few tears we’ve put into this year.

🚨 Property News Update 🚨
Just came across this BBC piece that really caught my attention… A major developer, Persimmon Homes, is asking to cut back the number of affordable homes on a large housing estate near Norwich. Originally, the plan was to build 1,000 homes with a third being affordable. But now, due to “rising costs” and “site issues,” they’re only building around 780, and want to slash the affordable units from 185 down to just 30. The local parish council is pushing back, saying this makes it even harder for residents to get on the property ladder and that there’s been “no engagement” from the developer. This really highlights the tension between profitability vs. community impact, doesn’t it? On one hand, developers are struggling with rising costs… but on the other, families are finding it harder than ever to buy their first home. What do you think should councils hold developers accountable for delivering affordable homes, even if the numbers “don’t stack up”? Or should developers be given flexibility to make their projects viable? Drop your thoughts below 👇 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c33rx8npzj8o

@Liam J Ryan in it’s simplest terms This is one of those questions where both sides have a strong point, and the “right answer” often depends on what you value most — community wellbeing, housing affordability, or free-market development.
