My First Claude Code Build: From Scratch to Vercel
I used Claude Code along with the GST framework to build a small test site which shows temperature in real time with 5 days forecast of any city in the world!! https://realtimeweatherapp-delta.vercel.app/ This was purely an experiment—I started from scratch with a very simple idea—but the learning was huge. It helped me understand how things work inside Claude, how the GST framework is structured, how to push everything to Git, and finally how to deploy it on Vercel. While the UI can definitely be improved, from a learning perspective this exercise was extremely valuable. On to the next one šŸš€ Hopefully the next iteration turns into a great-looking final product. Curious to hear—what are you all building with Claude Code?

The future of Marketing & Wispr-Flow
I had a conversation with a marketing student today. She was deeply stressed because she's graduating in a couple of months, and she's typically the person who has everything planned out. She loves marketing, but she's watched the job market for marketers get smaller and smaller. With the efficiencies AI brings, being able to create images, videos, and marketing material, there is just a flood of AI slop out there. Absolute garbage as far as content goes. But here's the thing: that's exactly why human marketers are going to be valued in the future. It's going to become more and more evident when someone just uses AI in the marketing world. The real storytelling behind a brand is what's going to stand out. Make sure your ideas and content aren't just automated out. Marketers, be sure to use AI, but it's the human behind the machine that makes stories sell. To those who are fearful of what AI brings, yes, it will close down certain jobs, but it will also open doors to many different opportunities. This post was all from my voice. No AI generated this. I use Wispr Flow; you should check it out.
šŸ“¦ Out of The Box in 60: ElevenLabs Professional Voice Clone
Welcome to the Out of The Box Series — where I test how far curiosity and AI can take you in 30, 60, or 90 minutes using today’s best no-code and low-code tools. No studio. No production team. Just exploration — right out of the box. šŸŽ¬ This Episode: ElevenLabs – Professional Voice Clone šŸ•’ Time Limit: 60 Minutes šŸ“‚ Category: AI Voice + Video Workflow šŸ’” The Starting Point: I had two full hours of recorded video and audio from a event. I brought that into CapCut and did a very rough edit to remove anything that was not my voice. What I Built in 60 Minutes: šŸŽ™ļø Used Professional Voice Clone in ElevenLabs to generate polished narration āœ‚ļø Created a rough cut video in CapCut šŸŽ›ļø Ran the ElevenLabs audio through a light cleanup filter in Audacity šŸŽ§ Exported the cleaned audio šŸŽ¬ Dropped the refined narration back into CapCut and aligned it with the visuals šŸ”§ What Is Professional Voice Clone? Professional Voice Clone creates a high-fidelity digital version of your voice using longer, clean recordings. It’s designed for more stable, production-quality narration — especially for long-form content. This isn’t a quick novelty clone. It’s built for repeatable workflows. See the rough draft of the video below. This stack — ElevenLabs + Audacity + CapCut — is worth testing. That’s Out of The Box in 60. Have a blessed and creative AI day šŸ™ @Michael Wacht

Using AI in an Authentic Manner. Without Losing Your Mind (Literally)
Something I've encountered pretty frequently is the question of how to use AI in an authentic manner. How do we use AI in a manner that preserves our critical thinking skills for future students, for the young ones growing up in this age? The biggest thing I've come across is using my voice. I'm using my voice right now with Wispr Flow to communicate this. Communicating and co-building with AI in a manner where we're both learning, and I'm using my voice, is the highest form of learning. Teaching is the highest form of learning. If you refer back to the learning pyramid, 5 to 10% of information from reading and listening gets retained, but when you discuss, apply, and teach topics, you retain 50 to 75% of the information. So having our students, people using AI, people we're training, companies we're training, use their voice to co-build with it so they don't lose their critical thinking is the most important thing. It's simple, but it's so effective. How are you using AI in a way that feels authentic to you?

@Matthew Sutherland 100% it helps you learn! Think about database architecture. If you can communicate how to properly structure a database for a product or whatever you're working on, that is valuable. Instead of just having Claude draft up a strategy for architecting a database, but actually talking through the schema./
