$500 Amazon KDP Ads Strategy in 5 Steps
I published a new video breaking down my 5-step Amazon KDP Ads strategy for promoting a book with a $500 budget. For most books, spending $500 wisely on ads is enough to increase sales, collect meaningful data for optimization and scaling, and identify potential bottlenecks holding the book back. The amount of data you gather depends on the cost per click (CPC) in your niche. What are your average CPC levels?

@Robert Enochs and emekas. your right on with you post which has made ads not only costly but even more confusing - phase 1 coast me money after i did emekas ads which also failed - now the cover was an issue in the beginning and then the niche died and became saturaed both negatives they dont account for. now very confused as to which direction tto go for next book as I lost my a$$ with this one. been out 4 mths switched to suto and now aos is good and getting few sales i keep optimizing the auto ad watching impressions and increasing bid which seems to be working -fyi i dont type well and thats what keeps amazon off my back in reviews as i can never be accused of being AI

As you probably know, I published the book I have been working on for the last few months this week. For me, primarily, it is not a book for earning royalties, but a guide to a part of the new economy emerging right before our eyes. In some way, it's a trial balloon to test whether there is a space for such a type of book on the market. As you can imagine, I would be happy to get feedback from the target audience, and luckily enough, the target audience is you. If you want to give your input and you have Amazon Prime for free delivery, I would be more than happy to cover the cost of the book via PayPal. Shoot me a message if you're down to it. Why don't I just publish the link? It's for the next few weeks. Today, I want to get private feedback to understand whether it was worth it.

$500 Test or Phases Campaigns
Yesterday was an interesting day: @Matt Radkiewicz and @Barry Georgiou published videos on how to structure Amazon Ads campaigns. Matt and Barry are accomplished publishers, and clearly, we can extract a lot of value from both videos. But on the surface, they seem to contradict each other in some areas. For example, using an auto campaign at the start. I would like to give my perspective on the topic, and we could continue in the comments. Barry provided a clear, simple structure: Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3, with exact goals for each phase. And it's great if we assume the promoted book is great, the niche has potential, and the promotion timeline is infinite. Matt, on the other hand, provided the structure for a publisher that cannot make a long-term commitment to the book yet due to insufficient data. His $500 campaign provides a framework for gathering initial data to determine whether the promotion should continue. As for me, Matt and Barry described frameworks for completely different scenarios, and we should not compare them; rather, we should consider them for different use cases. What is your opinion on the topic? @Robert Enochs does it make sense for you?

I was in roberts position, following barry phase 1 never got enough sales to move to phase 2 i got lots impressions spent lots money learned a lot changed cover x 3 still not much traction has x2 calls still noth9ing except keep going - $$$ was a lot I recently switched to auto ads and today my acos is finally in a good position at 37% not >100 i have watched both videos and i think matts is a good switch when the phase 1 isnt going anywhere im getting a new book ready and am now wondering which strategy to adopt -i spent too much last time and honestly am scared to repeat that -even though ni will have many things better this time from my lots of $$ and a years worth of education
