How to Scan a Bunch of Documents Automatically
The question of @Laura Diaz made me think about the fact that sometimes we all need to convert a lot of physical documents into one file. It can be notes for a manuscript, receipts to claim expenses, or a multi-generational notebook with recipes from our grandma. Of course, we can use a scanner or take photos page by page. Well, some people can, but I am too lazy for it. I decided to share how I operate in such a situation. Basically, you just need to show documents to your phone and the phone will do the rest. Do you know a more effective way?

I saw this too late, when I was half-way through my work, but 100% will use this tip for my next books. It's hard sometimes to put in pdf annotations what a good red marker can do on paper. Not to mention, it really feels like doing the work twice! PS: 1) One tool I do not recommend is pdfgear - while it is free, and has advanced editable options, it kept crashing, and not saving my changes. Super frustrating experience!! 2) @Igor O - Since you are the tech tools geek - Do you know if it's possible on an ipad to upload a pdf and then make manual notes using a stylus and just save the pdf with the notes? I guess it has to be 100% possible... Again, I thought about this too late!!! Silly me!!
Any tips on the best way to submit format changes on a pdf?
Ok, I’m a paper person. I need to see things on paper to really spot mistakes and come up with ideas. So that’s what I did when I received the first draft format: printed the whole thing and review it the old way (with a pen on my hand). Now I need to put all the comments I have on the pdf. I don’t have adobe so I am using pdf gear (free) to put my comments on the pdf but it’s taking ages (well I also lost over 30 reviewed pages for not saving - frustrating, but… my bad!). Anyway, do you have any recommendations of efficient work flows for this?

@Igor O Wow! Super super useful... I wonder if the person would be able to make sense of my notes on paper, but probably knowing that's the way I am going to do it, I'd try for my notes to be tidy and clear!

@Igor O Wow! That's super useful stuff, too!
Is It Possible to Run Ads Successfully without Reviews?
I hope the data in the screenshot answers this question well enough. This is just the 7th day of the campaign, and the conversion rate is more than 19%. Hear me correctly: I do not mean to say that reviews are not important. Quite the opposite, I am sure reviews are essential for success. But do not let the absence of reviews (yet) stop you from actively promoting your book. And next, to get a very good deal for the BookVillage review platform, use the link https://bookvillage.pub/?via=guild Have you had experience with good book sales without reviews, or with a minimal number of them?

@Thomas Juuls 😲 well, congrats! Great ACOS as well? Is this the German or the US market?

@Igor O great! To be honest, I don’t mind that it says that. What I care about is compliance with Amazon’s TOS!

@Igor O Amazing!
Do you have less sales over the weekend?
I'm noticing this trend, and was wondering if this happens to you too. I guess it may be niche-related, but I'm curious...

Well, I look at the BSR as a metric, because, you're right, many printers could be closed over the weekend.
