@Sal Barbera Thank you. No, I clearly do not want to make everyone happy, but if there are some niches available... OK, you confirmed BookBeam keyword volume data; it seems it's not a niche.

@Robin Short Thank you very much for sharing. It seems I will make at least one left-handed book for test.
How to Scan a Bunch of Documents Automatically
The question of @Laura Diaz made me think about the fact that sometimes we all need to convert a lot of physical documents into one file. It can be notes for a manuscript, receipts to claim expenses, or a multi-generational notebook with recipes from our grandma. Of course, we can use a scanner or take photos page by page. Well, some people can, but I am too lazy for it. I decided to share how I operate in such a situation. Basically, you just need to show documents to your phone and the phone will do the rest. Do you know a more effective way?

@Thomas Juuls Cool. I used it after London to show Google Drive all the pages with my notes, and I got it all in one file in a few minutes. Also, my wife is using it heavily for recipes. Extremely helpful tool.

@Laura Diaz I'm not a big Apple fan, so I don't have much experience with it. But I opened a PDF in Notes on my iPad, made notes with an Apple Pencil (or whatever this white stick's name is), and saved it in Files. It saved with the notes. So, it's one way to do it.
Any tips on the best way to submit format changes on a pdf?
Ok, I’m a paper person. I need to see things on paper to really spot mistakes and come up with ideas. So that’s what I did when I received the first draft format: printed the whole thing and review it the old way (with a pen on my hand). Now I need to put all the comments I have on the pdf. I don’t have adobe so I am using pdf gear (free) to put my comments on the pdf but it’s taking ages (well I also lost over 30 reviewed pages for not saving - frustrating, but… my bad!). Anyway, do you have any recommendations of efficient work flows for this?

@Laura Diaz if I understood the task correctly, this is the answer: https://www.skool.com/guild/how-to-scan-a-bunch-of-documents-automatically

@Laura Diaz Next step - upload the file to LLM and ask to convert the notes to text. And tweak it by hands afterwards.
Payoneer for saving conversion cost
For any non USA citizen, when we get our royalties, we pay conversion charges on the amount and when we spend in Amazon ads, we again pay conversion charges, and in both the cases, some bank forex charges are also applied. So I was looking for a solution where I can keep my royalties in local account and pay via this one for ads, this way I can avoid double conversion charges. While searching about it online, I found out about Payoneer, according to AI mode of Google search, this saves 7-9% or transaction costs. So I am curious to know if anyone uses Payoneer or any similar service.

@Shivam Sharma I am absolutely not meaning that $1000 is a small amount. I mean that the structure of Payoneer tariffs makes the service less attractive for small turnover.

@Kenya Leal Thank you so much for such the detailed explanation. It's very useful. After reading the real experience, Payoneer became a more interesting option for me.
Let's Talk Strike-through Price
This is a very nice gift from Amazon – your book is sold at a discounted price, but you still receive full royalties. Of course, nobody can tell you for sure how to get it, but some ideas can help you a lot. The last two weeks, I conducted a few experiments to test some of the assumptions I had based on my previous experience. Let me share what I found. 1. Your book should ideally be new, and you need traction. In other words, if you published a book, actively promoted it, and sales are on the rise, it is highly likely you will have a price strike. 2. Do not hesitate to raise the price dramatically. In one instance, I increased the price from 12.95 to 49.95 and got the strike-through price. Yes, it's tempting to buy a few hundred of your own books in such a situation, because it would be profitable. But I do not think it's worth risking your account for a quick buck. 3. If you arrange an ads-heavy launch and strike-through price strategically, you can recoup a significant portion of your net losses during the days of your price strike. What is your experience with strike-through prices? Would you like to add something to my findings?

@Tanmay Kadam Yes, usually it lasts one or two days. Of course, as soon as strike-through prices disappeared, we need to update our price to a realistic one. And I would not count on this tool as multi-use, rather as a launch tool to recoup our launch costs.

@Temmy Ay Amazon's algorithm will do everything itself.
