Need your help: How to Hold Your Breath
Caribe Nation, I’m working on a secret project that is going to CHANGE THE GAME... Jan 1, 2026, you will have access to a tool that gives you the exact solution to EVERY fear, mistake, or panic moment in learning to swim. BUT, to make it perfect, I need your experience. Question: What happens to you when you try to put your face in the water and hold your breath? Tell me the truth — not the filtered version. Think about: - What you feel (fear, panic, overwhelm) - What you think (“I’ll drown,” “I can’t breathe,” “I’ll lose control”) - What your body does (nose burns, chest tightens, tense neck, water in nose) - Any emotional or spiritual reactions (“something bad will happen,” “I’m not safe,” etc.) - Any strategies you have used to master this step - How many [estimated] practice repetitions this took to master - Any additional information you think may help!  Big or small. Logical or not. Doesn’t matter. If it happens, I want to know it. Your answers will help me create a tool that solves these problems for you and every new adult swimmer who comes after you. Post your experience below! BIG Love.– Coach Jeff P.S. I will be sending another email on your front floating experience later this week. I would love your continued support then as well!

Putting my head into the water had been my biggest fear. A feeling of panic would set in. Feeling overwhelmed, I would want to lift my head up and step out of the pool. I dislike water getting into my nose. My heart would start pounding. I would meditate, do breath holds, chant and of course show up every single day to practice. A week into this routine helped me relax a little. The support of Caribe community, my friends at the pool made me realise that I was not alone. Slowly I started enjoying holding my breath and putting my head in the water. Infact, I could shut myself off from all the noise, external and internal, and focus on myself. Thanks & Regards
Not able to stand up after floating
Hello, I am a beginner aged 53 yrs. Never learned to swim in my young age. I am afraid of water and putting my head into water. Started classes 3 days ago. Am able to put head into water but still need to feel relaxed and love water. Will definitely practice the relaxation techniques shared. Also, Though I am able to float, I am unable to stand up with both my legs after float. Kindly guide. Thank you

Dear Coach Jeff and Meredith and the entire Caribe community, I am happy to share that finally I have been able to side breathe and swim. It is a day of great celebration .4 months ago, when I started my journey, I was petrified of water. I take this opportunity of thanking one and all for being so supportive throughout this journey. If I can do it, you all can . Ps never give up. Had it not been for all your encouragement and support, I wouldn't have seen this day. With deepest gratitude and humility, I share my latest video. It has been an incredible journey of discovering myself. Thanks a ton. Warm Regards, Padmini
