Launched a campaign on a brand new account with no conversion history and all the initial metrics are looking good and it's getting conversions except the cost per conversion is super high - should I let this just run and assume google will optimize and start finding more conversion within my daily budget? Hey guys, it's been about 2-3 years since I've run YT ads. I came back to launch a new funnel on YT and running into some issues due to them forcing you to use the partner network etc. 1. I got a list of 8k low-performing website placements to exclude from a friend. I used the Google ads editor to exclude these. 2. I also excluded all mobile app traffic using the Google ads editor. When I did this, it immediately started generating opt-ins for a good price. Then the next day, it burnt about $300 without getting a single opt-in. I know it's not the ads / opt-in because I've been doing this a long time, the creative/lander may need testing but it's good enough to generate opt-ins for a decent price. I checked the placements and it's 99% random websites. Do I just keep excluding any sites that it shows up until the traffic is good? Any idea how much I'm going to have to waste in budget to get all these excluded? Also curious how you guys keep track of the placements you've excluded. Can't see it anywhere.
