Going through it
When life's got you down, what are your go-to ways of getting through it?

Go for a walk (headphone free) outside and let the thoughts flow. I try not to act on any of them, just witness the thoughts come and go and acknowledge the feelings that arise in me. Listen to my favourite music. Dance and sing if I feel compelled Lie down and do nothing for as long as my brain + body needs it. Let the tears pour out if they come. Immerse myself in a quality story by watching a movie/reading a book to step out of my own world to a bit. Sometimes doing low cognitive physical tasks helps, like cleaning. It gives me space to think and I'm still being productive. Hope these help 🙂
Stacking momentum
A reminder I’m taking from today: When I stack small, embodied wins and stay present with what I’m doing, momentum builds on its own. I don’t need a perfect day for things to move forward. Even with stress, delays, and a little chaos, I can still feel aligned, grounded, and effective. Turns out, showing up in my body and doing the next honest thing is what actually creates the flow. 🌱

Love this, lowers the expectations of having the "perfect day" and then the less perfect ones don't bum us out as much. There's some beauty to chaos I believe
Little signs
Sometimes the universe just gives you little signs you’re in the right place… Like today, I went on a drive to get lunch. I was heading to a juice shop, but then found a ramen place and decided to go there instead. (I’m a bit of a slut for some ramen) Inside, what’s playing but Avatar the Last Airbender? And a scene with my favorite character, no less. Uncle Iroh! What little signs have you noticed lately that made you feel like, “yup, I’m in the right place!”?

I loveee moments like this! There's been a few like this in my life, I always like to think of them as little signs from the universe ☺️
The one-song rule saved my business
@Emily Satel introduced me to this rule that's made my life so much easier... If a task takes less than one song length to complete: DO IT NOW. No "I'll do it later." No adding to the list. No overthinking. Result: • Inbox stays manageable • Tasks don't pile up • Mental load decreases ADHD brains need friction-free systems. What micro-habit changed everything for you?

Heck yeah I love this rule, I live by a similar one. If it takes less than 5 minutes to do, then get it done straight away. It saves SO MUCH space in the mental task list. Plus I love the little dopamine hit afterwards 🤤

Hey, y'all! Rex and I are working on a quiz to help you figure out where you're at and what you need. I need volunteers to take the quiz and give feedback on: - Glitches - Typos/spelling errors - Overall feel of the questions and answers - Anything else you deem important or noteworthy Who's interested?!
