Hope your legs are holding up after your workout Mark! Currently at the hairdressers using my ‘chair time’ to catch up on the community posts. Effective use of time I think!

DIGITAL DISCIPLINE 📵 • No scrolling before 9am. Guard your focus. • No phone during meals. Be present. • Replace 30 mins of scrolling with learning. • Turn off non essential notifications. Attention is one of your most valuable assets.

Great point to highlight and this topic could totally be expanded. I am so disciplined with phone usage and it really astounds me how less present our kind have become, moments lost, conversations unspoken, relationships lost because of technology. Definitely support being present and giving every aspect of your life attention, it can be difficult but losing them could be tougher.

My own assumptions - currently working on being mindful of these and actively recognising developed habits that are hindering my physical progress.

Possibly late to comment on this but one thing I’ve never done in all my 23 years of training is track progress, I don’t carry a book to note sets, reps, weight or log it on my phone. I don’t necessarily feel this limits my progress as steadily I increase the weight, I feel stronger, I notice changes to my frame but it may be a factor for others in the community. Would be interesting to know if there is data or lived experiences to suggest whether this does impact progress, maybe slower progress being made or lowers focus level?!

Would highly recommend community members attending the next live where possible. I believe there will be takeaways for each individual and the platform provides opportunity to ask direct questions, share personal information in a safe space with real answers. I’m impressed!
