Last week on 10th December, I was sitting in my office when Bilal Bhai sent a screenshot of... My FIRST EVER SALARY had been credited. For a few seconds, I just stared at the screen, unable to decide how to react. Then I thanked Allah and messaged my parents, and their happiness was beyond anything I can put into words. The next day, I went to the bank, withdrew the cash, and while coming back home, I took an envelope in which I decided to give my salary to my parents. (Attached below) Later that day, after Maghrib, my papa came back home from his office and mama was free as well. I asked them to sit on the sofa side by side and told them to give me their hands (while I kept the envelope behind me hiding from them).
