Sotd-Overture Man Amouage
A little challenging in the beginning due to dense cumin and cognac notes but slightly sweet minty spicier due to cardamom in the middle cinnamon and patchuli is hard to obsorb as well but this stage is for 20 minutes and finally my lovely rich woody animalic and smokier dry down. Longevity is around 6 to 7 hours and projection is 2 hours easily arm length

Would you say this one is versatile Adeel? Could you wear it daily?
sote: ATH Daddy
I applied this beauty at 3pm and it provided moderate sillage til 6pm, steady mild sillage til 9, and I'll be able to smell it on my skin tomorrow morning. It opens with gorgeous sweet apple, tonka and soft oud. It dries down to a perfectly balanced, medium tone smooth oud, sandalwood, vanilla blend with a touch of freshness. I like it as a casual fragrance. It has some similarities to Notorious, but the oud gives it depth that lasts longer. Most everyone that tries Daddy aka Zeus, loves it immediately, so I recommend getting a decant or 10ml to see for yourself. Have a great night brothers.

@Dave Anderson oh I know 😂 Gotta love Aaron. I recently learned he's in his 50s!! Can you believe that??

@Dave Anderson yeah he did, I had to check Google for his date of birth because I thought he was just messing
Empty bottles....
What to do with them!! Do you guys keep some of your empty bottles? Or do they all see the bottom of the bin. I know some stores such as The Perfume Shop will have recycling facilities. But sometimes I wanna hold onto a whiff of a scent without having to repurchase a bottle ... Tho the clutter factor is huge for me too - it can start to accumulate fairly rapidly if you're not careful! What do you guys think?

@Blake Merl fair enough! Do you have somewhere where you can reliably find testers?

@Blake Merl interesting! Seems to be less of a common thing in the EU. Maybe I'll consider hitting up some of the north American sites next time
SOTE - Interlude 53 Man by Amouage
After reading several detractors of this amazing (AMAZING) fragrance, I was beginning to doubt myself, but after about a month or so, I had the occasion to try it again. LOL!! Yep. IMO I got it right the first time. This stuff is pure magic. Is it for everyone? Clearly not. And to those souls, I say "oh well..." But as far as I'm concerned, this masterpiece is one of the greats if you're into (VERY) smoky, incensy, woody/oudy frags. Interlude 53 defines Amouage. If you don't get Interlude 53, you're probably not going to get Amouage as a whole. I thank my lucky stars I love this stuff. It's kinda like bleu cheese. It's one of the finer things that really makes life special sometimes! 10.0/10.0 all day long.

@Steve Louis interesting take! I love black iris, so I will have to get my nose on 53
Afraid to say it..
What fragrance does everyone hype about that you secretly think smells bad? What is the most overrated fragrance? C'mon say it..

I legitimately had to wash off tobacco royale by Precious Liquid! And I have a fairly open mind to stronger/stranger scents

A young man passionate about perfumery I value scents with uniqueness and quality. Scents that can elevate a person or moment and emboss memories.
