I called a pre-vegan on the stage to ask him 4 simple questions, and he answered honestly
At the Orlando International Vegan Food Festival in April, I called a pre-vegan on the stage to ask him 4 simple questions, and he answered honestly. I hope watching this conversation inspired both him and you to go vegan and to further speak up for the animals. πŸŒ±πŸ’šπŸ™ Watch the full video on my YouTube Channel! https://youtu.be/207wSUs0KhE?si=zCSncijq7pKbdeKK
Does exercise order matter?
I get this all the time from clients. They're like "Hey, you sent me the list and I'm supposed to do this, and then this, and then this, but can I do it backwards? What if the gym is packed?" At the end of the day, do your best. If the gym is packed and you can only go in the order that you can, do so. But if you're asking what is optimal, following the exercises in the order listed is best. For example, on your back day, you're probably going to have in your program a lat pullover, where you're doing an isolation movement to get your lats warmed up. This isn't to grow you into the biggest, strongest, leanest, sexiest human alive. It's to allow your mind-muscle connection to get with your lats, get some blood flow in there, and then be better able to perform on your next exercises more safely. So exercise order does matter. Do your best. If you can, follow it the way I've listed it out. Question for this group: do you perform your compounds or isolation movements first?

I just want to remind you that you are not alone
I've been vegan for 20 years now. It has been one of the greatest aspects of my life, but also the biggest head-scratcher when I try to understand why the people around me are not. I just want to remind you that you are not alone and that the choices that you are making, choices that maybe other people make fun of, put down, or don't understand, don't let that get to you. Remember why you do this. We do this for the animals. We speak up, we use our voices, and we fight for those that cannot fight for themselves. When people say that you can't be a man and be vegan, I want to ask: what does it mean to you to be a man? Does killing and harming defenseless animals and creatures make you into some sort of super macho, masculine man? I don't think so. I think men should step up and speak up for the voiceless. Men should protect those they can. Men should share their lessons with those they can. That's why I'm here. That's my mission every single day of the week. This is literally what I do from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep. I just want you to remember that you're not alone. Let's share messages like this. Let's continue standing up and showing the world how real men, real women, and real people can stand up for what they believe in. I'm here to support you and remind you that you're not aloneπŸ’šπŸ™

Complete protein
When we talk about complete proteins, we're talking about whether these protein sources contain all nine essential amino acids needed to grow and build muscle. The thing is, you've likely been lied to your entire life. You do not need to worry about complete proteins as a vegan, unless you eat beans and only beans for 24 hours straight. You don't need to worry about pairing certain proteins for each meal. Not only is this mentally daunting, it’s also just another trick to make vegans think they are at a disadvantage. You're going to get what you need through a varied source of proteins in your diet. Let me tell you this: myself, every client I've taken to stage, literally every client I've ever worked with, we've never tracked their complete grams of protein. We've never done a deep-dive analysis of amino acids. When you eat a varied diet (and this includes soy-free athletes as well) you don't have to worry about where you get your protein.
