WEEK 2 CHALLENGE: Strength for Two
In this week's video, we explore the ancient Greek roots of the word hero, which literally means "protector". A true hero isn't a "tough guy" or a "killer," but someone with strength for two—the physical and mental capacity to support others who need it. With that in mind, here is your WEEK 2 CHALLENGE: 🛡️ The "Strength for Two" Challenge This week, we are moving from theory to action. Your mission is to embody the role of the protector. The Mission: Find one person in your circle—a family member, a colleague, or a friend—who is currently "stuck" or overwhelmed. Use your strength to "carry" a piece of their burden. The Action Steps: 1. Identify: Who around you is struggling under a load they can't carry alone? 2. Protect: Intervene in a way that provides them relief. This could be taking over a stressful task, offering a safe space for them to vent, or providing the technical or emotional "shield" they need to recover. 3. Act with Love: Remember, the hero's secret weapon is love. It is the fuel that gives you the courage to act even when you are tired or fearful. Post to the Community: Share your experience in the community feed: - Who did you choose to protect? - What specific action did you take to provide "strength for two"? - How did it change your perspective on your own leadership? "Everybody is called to be a leader. It is the new hero's journey for the 21st century."

What the heck is Human 10.0?
Great question! When Chris Nolan (my business partner) and I developed the VUCA training program, we came up with the VUCAMAX Line - a chart those shows the "reactive side" of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity), what is better known as Human 1.0 as well as the positive/responsive side (Vision, Understanding, Clarity, Adaptability) - also known as Human 10.0. So when I'm talking about Human 10.0, I'm talking about how you can move towards becoming your best self...that...is Human 10.0.

Challenge Name: From Human 1.0 → Human 10.0 Mission: For the next 5 days, operate as the leader you’re becoming — not the one you’ve outgrown. Your Daily Commitment: ✅ 1 mindset shift✅ 1 micro-action✅ 1 end-of-day reflection How to Complete the Challenge: 1. Post once this week in the group: 2. Comment daily on the group thread (or journal privately): Example: Human 1.0 Thought: “I have to do this alone.” Human 10.0 Shift: “Collaboration is strength.” Action: Reached out to a peer for feedback. Reflection: Felt more focused and supported. Finishers get featured and will be invited to a live coaching drop-in.
