What is love
What is love? It’s the cry of a newborn baby, the beauty of wildflowers clothed in colour, the drops of rain falling on parched ground, the warmth of the sun that makes all things grow. It’s the seed hidden in darkness, breaking open to bring forth new life. It’s the wind that stirs unseen, the waves that roar their praise, the light that shines even when the dark tries to hide Me. All creation whispers of My love, but My greatest love was shown on a hill. The crown of thorns that pierced My brow, the long walk carrying the weight of the world, the nails that held Love to the tree. The innocent for the guilty. The blood that fell for healing. The words that rose—Forgive them. The spear that opened My heart so yours could be made whole. How can I comprehend this love? you ask. How can I understand its height and depth? And I say to you, You cannot measure it; you can only receive it. This love never fails. It sees the good within your wounded heart. It speaks peace into your stillness. It is beyond all knowledge, beyond all understanding— but it is yours. Who am I that You would love me like this? you whisper. And I answer, You are the one I chose, the one I delight in. The one I call Mine. Whom have I but You? What do I have but You? Nothing you desire compares to Me, My child. So rest. Let My love be your understanding. Let My heart be your home. For this is who I am— and I long for you to know My heart.

He keeps count of your tears
“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?” Psalm 56:8 “Tossing” speaks of those restless nights when worry and sorrow keep you awake — the anxious turning, the heavy heart that can’t find peace. This verse reminds us that God sees every moment of that struggle. He keeps count of the times you’ve tossed and turned. He gathers each tear you’ve cried and records them in His book. Nothing you’ve endured is forgotten. In Isaiah 43:3–4, God declares His love and commitment to His people — that He would give nations in exchange for their lives because they are precious, honoured, and loved in His sight. Ultimately, this love was fulfilled in Jesus, who gave His own life on the cross — the greatest ransom ever paid. So when you feel alone, unseen, or unloved, remember this: God will do whatever it takes to rescue those He loves. Your tears matter to Him. Your pain has not gone unnoticed. Even when others walk away or let you down, He remains — faithful, constant, and near. You are never forgotten by God.

Give God the wheel
Psalm 32:8 As long as you keep holding the wheel, you are also responsible for the consequences. But God invites you to place the wheel in His hands. Not because you’ve failed, but because He knows your destination better than you do. Like a guide who knows every mile marker before you get there, the Holy Spirit wants to lead you—the quiet force steering you the right way at the right moment. James compares the tongue to a rudder on a ship: small, yet it determines the course. In the same way, the “wheel” of your heart sets the direction of your life. What drives you—anger, pride, fear—or are you allowing God’s Spirit to guide your choices? A wheel only works when it’s connected to the right power source. For us, that power is the Holy Spirit. There are moments when life spins out of control. Every driver knows the feeling when the rig starts to jackknife or the wheel jerks out of your grip. Sudden loss, sickness, or rejection can make you feel like you’re sliding helplessly. In those moments, it’s hard to keep trusting. Yet that’s when God whispers, Let go—not out of fear, but in faith. Surrender isn’t giving up; it’s saying, “Lord, I don’t know anymore, but You do.” Where your steering fails, He takes over. Just as an autopilot steadies the course when the pilot can’t, the Holy Spirit safely guides you through life’s storms. Still, we must stay alert. Distractions like busyness, worry, temptation, and the opinions of others can subtly pull us off course. The Bible’s call to be watchful isn’t meant to make us afraid—it’s to help us stay focused. The enemy rarely attacks head-on; he distracts one small decision at a time. So keep your eyes on the road and your heart attuned to the Spirit’s voice. He is your GPS, your Navigation. As long as you follow His direction, you’ll stay on course—no matter what happens along the way. Every journey has a destination. No driver sets out without one. God has a purpose for your life—not only for today, but for eternity. Jesus has opened the way to that destination. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
