Video Briefs
How does your social media team ask for content from you? A lot of the stuff I see on here is to take long form and then repurpose it into short-form. We don't have a podcast, we don't have webinars (we're a B2C Home Services startup) not that we couldn't start those things. How do you handle this in your current workflows?

I just suck at making them. Any advice would be appreciated

The key to thumbnails is to ask the viewer a question that they have to get the answer to. "Why rich people are evil" "The truth behind Monsanto" "Why McDonald's makes you fat" Other key ingredients: persons face in thumbnail performs better than without a face.
Setting Up Zaps for Managed YouTube Accounts
I'm working on setting up automations for a few clients who don't want to give full owner access to their YouTube accounts. When I try to connect the Google account in Zapier that is managing the YT accounts there isn't an option to select the managed accounts. Is there a workaround I can do to set up the zaps for managed accounts?

Can you tell the clients to toe the line? That your automations only work with specific access and otherwise they'll have to upload them manually after you process them?
Thumbnail Feedback
Hi guys, I have a self improvement youtube channel and I wanted to get some feedback on the thumbnail I made. The video is going to be about how to overcome overthinking and maybe perfectionism.

@Stephen G. Pope This is actually from our blog, so you can see it "in action" here: www.homr.io/blog-detail/prevent-pipes-from-freezing-9-easy-tricks

@Stephen G. Pope Right now the big questions I have are around 1) How does repurposing fit back into the workflow? example: we finish a blog, then want to use the content as the basis for short form video briefs, linkedin posts, etc. do those pieces then get repurposed too? 2) What's the distinction between a brief and a piece of content that needs to be edited/distributed. E.g. script that needs to be filmed, vs the video that gets uploaded to the inbox. Is that too granular?
Ideas for future content for SGP
Love SGP's content - it's super helpful - would love to see some more around the "building a team" portion of the process (he may have posted stuff like this already, and I just haven't been exposed to it) Here are a few ideas: 1) How to ID good team members for content (e.g. what to look for in an editor's portfolio, screening questions, etc.) 2) Managing your content team efficiently (e.g. key metrics to watch, KPI's, how to reduce WIP video inventory, etc.) 3) Best practices in hiring/pay structure for independent contractors (e.g. baseline costs per video, performance based bonuses, etc.)

Anything that's not finished, sort of six sigma process efficiency mantra - one of the goals of any system that maximizes throughput (like yours) is to decrease WIP Inventory e.g. stuff that's started but not finished, so we can't fully get value from yet. Big deal in manufacturing but also software dev. You don't want devs working on 10 stories at a time as it slows down total throughput
