Monday OOTD
It is a cold windy day here today. Fingers crossed I will spend the day in the office. I went with a white dress shirt for the base today. The collar does button but the button is concealed under the collar. Then I added a charcoal colored sweater, tan chinos, brown Anson belt, brown Thursday Captain boots, and an olive shirt jacket.

Respond In Power
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, One thing that I am learning on this journey, is how important communication and words are. Our words can validate our status. How we respond to certain questions or statements cannot only help you build confidence in yourself but also how others perceive you. For example, when someone says thank you don’t reply with you’re welcome; without realizing it, your minimizing your own value. Words seem small but they shape how the world perceives you today. Here are a few responses that instantly elevate your presence: 1.When someone says thank you don’t say “you’re welcome”, say “it was my pleasure” or “you can always count on me,” value your time value your energy. 2.If you arrive late don’t say sorry I’m late, “say thank you for waiting”, or say “I appreciate your patience”. Turn guilt into gratitude. 3.When someone asks what you want to eat. don’t say “whatever”, say “you choose I trust your taste” calm confidence is leadership. 4.If someone asks whether you know how to do something don’t say “I don’t know”, say “I can learn it quickly” capability outweigh doubt. 5. If you don’t know the answer don’t say “I have no idea”, say “that that’s interesting. What do you think?” Well placed humility earns respect. 6.If someone compliments you, don’t deflect it say “thank you”. That means a lot, receiving with confidence is strength. 7. If a guest says there’s too much food, don’t apologies. Say “you deserve to enjoy it.” Generosity doesn’t need justification. Never speak carelessly every word either builds your presence or weaken it. Here is the thing; the most important part speaking well isn’t manipulation, It’s awareness. Master your words, and you master how the world responds to you.

Dressing for your station well!!
Today, my wife and I are the same age.
This lasts for about two months until my birthday in Feb. Today, we are heading to her favourite cafe for a family brunch. The dress she is wearing was part Of the present, its linen, she received. It is going to be quite hot today, 39C (102F), which is predicted. So after brunch, it will be home and into the AC, which is 25C(77F) as I type this. Nicole wears a Ferever New Alison Zip Utility Linen Midi Dress in Porcelain Me, I am in my MJ Bale Alcantara Linen Pants, Charles Tyrwhitt Gold Performance Semi Plain Polo Ecco City Tray in Tan Scent is Versace Eros Energy (because my wife loves it, it is more than I do) And the wonderful Erebus Origin GMT I will add more photos as they come.

Y'all look great!!
Blazer and tie (6/70) Challenge day 6
Solids with texture Where yesterday’s challenge was patterns today’s is solids with textures. On Blazer challenge day six with the 6th of 70 ties I chose my newest royal blue blazer that I had made. It has an exact same colored stripe so I would classify it as a solid. Likewise the sea Island cotton shirt has what’s called a cornrow weave but it still is a solid. The yellow tie has a unique texture as well (would love some help on this weave of anyone knows the name). The pants are a black linen with the nubby texture offered by the linen. I opted out of a pocket square (might add later) simply to illustrate a completely different look than yesterday
