For archery it is important you work on your scapular stabilizers - they are often over looked and the workouts that target them are not typically ones that people would think about doing. You don't even have to go to the gym to work on them just need a few light dumbbells and exercise bands. But it is important you go very light weight and high reps as to avoid letting your larger muscle groups take over the movement. If you have healthy shoulders many people will just workout their shoulders and upper back but working the muscles that support them like your rotator cuff, mid and lower traps, serratus anterior can make a big difference when it comes to holding the bow steady at draw, especially for a prolonged period of time because those smaller muscles will often fail first before your shoulder gets tired.
