@Jordan Fischer do you think Hoyt is better than Darton or they’re at the same level?

@Jordan Fischer that’s a good idea, maybe I need to go to my local archery store because the big retailers here only carry a limited number of entry level brands

3D range
I’m planning to hit the 3D range today, what’s the usual distance I should be shooting those targets, like when people shoot for competition? That way I practice the real competition distance and not closer?

@Jordan Fischer I’m in a small break, so far visited 6 lanes into the forest, but man is getting hot here and it’s only 1pm, I’m sweating like a horse but I brought electrolytes and snacks 😅 so far lost 2 arrows that missed and stick in the backwall and broke them when pulling it 🥴 done about 90 shots by now 🏹🫠

@Jordan Fischer thanks ☺️
Hunting and fitness
I like to train in the gym with the goal in mind to be able to go farther, stay longer, and have the strength and endurance to hold my bow at full draw with prefect form for an extended period of time. I don’t want my body to be one of the reasons I miss a shot on an animal. Does anyone else train with this mindset in the off season and what kind of programs are you running to reach your goals.

I do train regularly for the last two years. Now that I’m into the sport, I keep in mind that I need strong shoulders and I do some extra training on my shoulders, the 3 heads, specially rear and front head to make it easier when I need to draw 💪🏻
