If I had 4 hours every day just to sit down at my laptop and work- with the goal of growing a following, what would my "work" look like? I have a blog, podcast, and YouTube channel, but my goal is building an audience.

@Eli Weaver in that case, it would be writing or videos. Both would be an equal struggle. It seems as if people really enjoy my videos, though, so I will focus more on videos for now.

@Andrew Kirby when you say focus exclusively, does that mean JUST YouTube, if I pick YouTube? No progress pictures/ photos on insta? No blogs whatsoever? No tweets? Or is there a way to focus exclusively on YouTube but also use that focus on other platforms as well? e.g., Posting on tiktok to drive traffic to my youtube?

#15 Books Everyone Should Read Before They Die ' My favorite book is Reality Transurfing by Vadim Zeland. The benefit I got from it was an immense reduction of my overall anxiety in public, an increased "willingness" to do things I previously procrastinated on by following the "reduction of importance" concept, and a massive increase of the overall happiness in my life. Granted, one may label this under the woo-hoo "law of attraction" school of thought. However, Zeland overcomes this through his past experiences. Zeland used to be a physicist, a role that requires logical thinking, deep insight, and a intense encoding of information, rather than retrieval (1) (2). Simply put, this book isn't just about just "feeling positive," it takes this concept, and many others, and logically explains it in a way that makes sense, and actually works. Here's what got me into transurfing... but you should really just read the book though, the entire first chapter is on Amazon.

@Andrew Kirby no I haven't, I will look into it though. It seems very out there and I like that, something to test how open minded I really am.

I want to grow on YouTube. I have constantly researched how to grow, and it seems that the first step is quantity. But there's a problem. I not only want to make YouTube videos, but I also love writing... Will pursuing both at the same time make me not achieve either of them? Do I need to focus just on videos, or just on writing? Or can I pursue both, with the ONE thing being content creation? I am unsure and would love to hear your ideas.

@Corey Bennett Boardman thank you for that Corey. I have heard how lucky I am to have found personal development at a young age. I’m blessed. I take things fast. It just stresses me out a lot because I love creating and school drains my time and energy so I always feel behind. I can’t play victim though, I still have to work with it.

@Corey Bennett Boardman I definitely don’t think the stories we tell ourselves are always true. The ego can make up the most twisted but believable things. In my opinion though, I need to go as hard as possible on this stuff because it means a lot to me

The notification to join this group flashed on my phone as I was having a conversation with life. I was telling life all my struggles, all my issues, all my emotions, and asking with hope for guidance from life. This technique is fantastic for releasing emotions and deepening your connection with life. I asked life for guidance and magically, here is this group. So what content fascinates me? Well, I’m obviously into the self-help stuff, lifting, reading, finance, etc, but my interests go much deeper. I love metaphysical topics and creative and artistic topics, I like the idea of deepening your connection and passion in life, I like very philosophical discussions or explorations into the nature of mind and reality. I attached a video on how I believe that overstimulation is robbing us of our creative potential. A problem I am currently working on is developing skill in content production and marketing, as I want my content to be beautiful and presentable, and I also want to get the word out to as many people as possible. If I could inspire millions to deepen their connection with life and start living more happily and make a career out of it, my life purpose would be firing to the max. Thank you for this opportunity Andrew.

@Steven K thank you and I hope it works well! I’ve noticed after detaching from the phone and getting present, ideas just kind of flow in. The mind is ready to create but must fully work through ideas before doing so.

@Andrew Kirby walks and meditation are by far the best ways to quickly clear your mind. For a more long term solution though, decreasing our habit of constant stimulation is a must.

Whether you’re struggling emotionally or physically, you need a release. I’ve noticed that many people are struggling and will continue to struggle, so I have a way to become at peace with your struggle. With winter coming, we don’t want to let our struggles overtake us and make us depressed. To help you with your struggles, I have an assignment for you. Watch this video and follow the directions to get a new and effective technique for dealing with life’s struggles and your emotions. Also feel free to comment ideas or thoughts. :)
