Categories, or Not?
I have my listings sorted into categories, I have 20, the maximum allowed. Just recently though I have considered whether this helps or hinders? What is everyones thoughts on this? I have recently had ideas for new posters but haven't proceeded with the idea as I don't have a category for them to fit into.... 🙃

I use categories. Maybe open another shop?
Shop feedback
Hi everyone! 😊 I'm a fairly new Etsy seller and would really appreciate some honest feedback on my shop. If anyone has a few minutes, would you mind taking a look at my listings and letting me know what you think? I'd love any suggestions on things like my photos, titles, descriptions, pricing, or anything else that stands out. I'm also wondering whether Etsy Ads are worth using for a new shop. Have they worked well for you, or would you recommend focusing on improving listings and SEO first? I'd really appreciate any advice or constructive criticism. Thanks so much in advance! 💛 https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Calderandcoprints?ref=shop_profile&listing_id=4436513500

One thing that jumps out at me is that your main mockup seems to dull your print. Very common with mockups. But that image is what will get your customer or not.
SEO Question
Hi guys. Just posted my first listing and Etsy have suggested I make my title less wordy, but this goes against the theory of using as many keywords as possible in your title to have the best possible chance to reach browsing customers. Just wondered if any seasoned sellers had any advice for this - whether if its I should just ignore it or if I should take Etsy's advice since it is their algorithm I'm trying to comply with! Thanks.

It’s always good advice to follow Etsy’s advice. They are in charge of the algorithm
PrintShrimp Update: Reports & Wallet!
Hey guys, We added a cool feature - one that has been requested for a long time, so sorry for the wait :D You can now see and download all your order history in Reports. This is good to see your progress and also for accountancy purposes. You can now also top up your PrintShrimp account and pay with a wallet balance. To turn this on, go to settings, top up your wallet balance, and set payment type to Wallet. In the future, you will be able to automate importing and placing orders automatically if you turn this on. Our Bulk Listing software will also be released in the next week or so, which is a huge change and will make your lives a lot easier :) If you want anything added to the stats page, comment below and if it's useful we can add it!

Great news Max. Thanks so much for all you do for us.
newbie sku setup with frames
I havent done anything in Printshrimp re the etsy store , excpt connect. I have my first 4 posters setup on etsy. sizes are 12x18, 18x20, 18x24 and 24x36. I am also offering the 3 frames . I customized the pricing in etsy for size, frame choice and multi sku's. Because I modified etsy for size and frame variations, will it cause a problem if i use the tools available at printshrimp to do a bulk update? Tools Step 1: 🔍 Bulk Change Etsy SKUs and Step 2: 🏷️ Bulk Change Etsy Variations & Prices. I am hoping to understand how to configure my store for sizes and frames. Plus what about paper choices the customer wants, Gloss, Satin or Matte?

Hi Stephen. If I understand the question correctly. You don’t need multiple skus for different sizes. Just one sku per design. When you get an order and import to printshrimp it will get the size from the order details. I personally don’t give the customer the option for paper choices. I have it selected to satin by default on printshrimp. If I think it will look better in another finish, I just manually edit the order in printshrimp. When using bulk update tools, it gives you the option to modify prices and options before it updates, if that makes sense
