Why more effort isn’t the answer
I want to say something clearly — especially since you’re already inside this space. We help people build health systems. And I’m still building mine. That’s not a disclaimer. That’s the point. I’ve been in fitness for over 20 years. I competed for nearly a decade. I was strong. I “looked the part.” And even then, I struggled with food, recovery, and sustainability. What I want you to hear is this: The issue was never discipline. It was that my health approach didn’t scale with my real life. And that’s the same pattern I see over and over with high-capacity people. Most of you here: - Know what to do - Are capable of doing hard things - Can push through signals when needed That ability is a strength — until it becomes the thing that breaks the system. What we are doing inside Legacy Performance is not chasing perfection. We are not optimizing at all costs. We are not trying to “win” fat loss as fast as possible. We are building systems that hold under pressure. That means: - Designing nutrition that works when stress is high - Training in a way that supports recovery, not competes with it - Learning how to adjust without self-attack - Knowing what phase you’re in — and why If you’ve ever thought: “I know what to do… I just can’t keep it up.” That’s not a character flaw. That’s a design problem. And design problems are solvable. So as you move through the content, the calls, the check-ins — keep this frame in mind: 👉 The goal is not control. 👉 The goal is stewardship. 👉 The goal is autonomy. We’re not here to build something impressive for 12 weeks. We’re here to build something you can carry for years — alongside work, family, leadership, faith, and real life. 👇 Reflection question: Where has effort been compensating for a system that doesn’t actually fit your life right now? If you want, drop a thought below — or just sit with it. Both count.

If I just do more and then get mad at myself up for resting.
Live Your Mission
The whole point and purpose of The Legacy Performance Institute is to educate, equip, and empower you on your health journey so you can live the mission set out before you. SO, my question to you is...What's YOUR mission? What wakes you up in the morning? What do you think about before going to bed? Do you own a business? Are you working in ministry! Share your story, and let's see who you can relate with!

My mission is to continue on my journey to be healthier and feel good about myself and be more confident.
Introduce yourself!
Hello and welcome to The Legacy Performance Institute! Before getting into the curriculum, I want to encourage you to NOT be a fly on the wall. Take the time to introduce yourself, share where you live (use only as much detail as you feel comfortable), your preferred mode of EXERCISE, and 1 interesting fact we may never know about you without asking directly! You are family now, so let's act like it :)

Hi, I’m Marnie and I am more of the fly on the wall types in these groups. Lol. I am in my mid 50’s 🤦🏼‍♀️ and work in the life insurance field in Indy (don’t worry, not a salesman) and live in Plainfield. I have a 30 yr old son and two black cats, Binx and Magick. Yes, I am a Hocus Pocus fan and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I also have a hairless grand kitty named Opal. I have to say my favorite are the strength classes at Fit Body. Took my first class there in April 2024 and loved it, even though I could not walk or sit for the rest of the week. 🤣 I completely my 306 class yesterday. I love the fact that it is an intense 30 minute class and don’t have to think about what you are going to do. Just have to show up. Plus I have met some amazing people and made some amazing friends there too! One fact people don’t know about me usually is that I was part of a paranormal group and have been to some pretty cool places here in the Midwest.
