Cohorts?
I'm seeing posts about cohorts but I have no idea which cohort I'm in or whether I'm in one at all. Someone please demystify this for me?

@Cathy A Castagna yes I know. Thanks
Following-through on rest is STILL following through
This thought came to me just now under the duvet whilst watching some ASMR and feeling beautifully relaxed. Even opened up Jim’s Twin to brainstorm how to turn it into social content potentially ✨ Wanted to share it with you too, should it be a helpful reminder for anyone 💖

@Ryan Key "she" is either a bot or a spammer and has been spamming this group for the past hour or so. She managed to move up levels and will soon be able to DM members - look at her profile. I have reported several of her posts already to admin but I think they are all sleeping (literally - because it's middle of the night in Europe)

@Cathy A Castagna this is a spammer /bot - look at the profile activity. Self promotion is against group rules anyway. Replying to that account moves it up in levels and the aim is to be able to chat with members privately
What's a loop?
Day 3. Was told to watch myself in a loop. Can't quite work that one out. Hoping I'll have a chance to work it out later. If anyone can help with defining what a loop is in this context (finishing the loop) I'd be most grateful.

@Amya Miller do not reply to user Rose Bryan. I have reported this user as a bot/spammer but it seems the admins are not active at this hour. They have been posting the same comment over and over throughout the community and have mentioned their Shopify store a few times. (Self promotion)
How do you handle family who think ADHD is just an excuse?
I'd love to hear from people who've been here. My kids don't really believe ADHD is a real thing. When my brain shuts down, or I can't get something done, the message I get is basically "you're being lazy, just push through." I know I'm not lazy. I know what's actually happening in my brain, but hearing it from your own kids hits in a place that just doesn't feel good at all. I've tried to explain it to them, and I'm starting to think maybe explaining isn't the answer...but I don't really know what is. So I'm asking: how have you handled this with family members who don't get it? Did anyone ever come around? Did you find a way to stop letting their judgment land so hard? Did you give up trying to convince them and just focus on your own work? I'd love to know what worked and what didn't.

I was diagnosed after my adult daughter was. She immediately took the meds as she was struggling to stay on track in her job —she felt this worked to keep her from getting distracted. Meanwhile, I'd spent upwards of 30 years as a creative freelancer and my two attempts with meds had not yielded good results. She is harshly judgmental of my attempts to find other paths — such as programs and communities like this one. I'm also concerned that she doesn't cultivate tools so as not to be dependent on the meds. I guess the point is, we all have to find our own imperfect way, and maybe talking about "judgment" is the real conversation that has to happen.

@Shani Sherwin there is a lot more to it in terms of family history and dynamics. My whole family is judgmental. She came by it honestly and has her own struggles being AuDHD herself and being raised by someone who was undiagnosed her whole life.
Mindset and Follow-Through Coach 💪
Jim’s Twin has been great in helping me get clearer on why describing myself as a ‘tidying coach’ has felt a bit off the mark. It’s suggestion of Mindset and Follow-Through Coach feels exciting! 🤩

@Rose Bryan you can see Leonie's progress by clicking on her name and going to her profile. She is on Level 7 - I see you just joined and are on level 1... Curious why you would post this

@Rose Bryan maybe don't post the same comment all over the place? That's a bit spammy
