Guitar School Question
I am looking to start my own guitar school, with online courses and some online private lessons. I have been playing guitar for more than 30 years. I did not have a teacher, nor took a systematic approach. It was a lot of experimenting on my part and also gained understanding of music theory by reading about it. My question is, what resources you recommend for me to get a methodology and system to teach my potential students? Since I learn in such a experimental way, I wonder how can I organize the curriculum for my students in a way they can follow it and improve.

@Luan Krasniqi thank you for your thorough answer. $1K a week sounds good to start.Better than what I thought actually. I am currently a public high school Math teacher here in Florida. Been doing that for the last 10 years. So initially I am thinking to use some of my after work and evening hours during workdays, weekend time and off time from school like summer vacations to dedicate to music related endeavors. Your system has given me ideas. Charting the course and actually starting are my challenges at this point. Thank you for your input.

I'm Luke Favorite song to play (right this second): Take one breath by the spill canvas Top 3: Dashboard confessional, alkaline trio, and I don't know why if feel bad if I didn't put in the spill canvas. I play mostly acoustic guitar but I definitely listen too allot of different genres. Grew up on the Beatles, listened to Metallica and nu-metal band as well as sublime and other alternative bands in high school, hot into more pop punk or alternative punk and metal core stuff later on and people say my music is emo. I do really like Midwest twinkle emo allot these days. Thanks for letting me join (edit)

@Luke Marcello that’s nice. Nice riffs. Also interesting, the use of a nylon string guitar. 👍🏾

Hello my name is Angeletta King most call me Ash but my husband calls me Willow, the girl with many names I know. I don’t know how to play an instrument just yet but my 2 favorite songs to sing are DeMiGod by Me and Burning house by Cam, that song has a soft spot in my heart and always will. My musical inspiration atm because they are always changing are Ashnikko and Billie Eilish! I have been writing unprofessionally for 12 + years I’m not gonna calculate the time because I was a child when I started writing and with mom brain it’s just gonna work, math is not my friend lol. We’ll see where this journey takes me wish me luck!

That’s nice. How long have you been playing? May I ask about the brand and model of your piano?
