DeepSeek Vs ChatGPT - Which One Is Best?
Deepseek has really taken the world by storm in much the same way as ChatGPT did back in the day. NVIDIA had 17% knocked of it's stock yesterday due to Deepseek's impressive methods of training their LLM for around $6 million dollars and with older chips! In this video, I put Deepseek up against ChatGPT on 3 different tests and the results are surprising. 👀 Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/ioPtxMnp4dA If you have tried Deepseek out, let me know what your experience has been below 👇 Crazy times. @Tylan Miller Gotcha, thanks for replying. It's almost impossible to keep your own data "safe" or "private" when using technology and the internet. There's only so much you can do. But I guess it's still worth doing what you can to prevent data theft and scams. Also, when my young kids ask me to download DeepSeek on their phones, I'm unsure what to do. (They already use ChatGPT, Perplexity and who knows what else).
Am I being ridiculous expecting ChatGPT to do what I ask for?
Apologies in advance for the rant, but I'm getting so annoyed at how bad ChatGPT has become. It just ignores requests and instructions. For example: Ask it for a specific image <give image but with unwanted border> Ask it for a version without the border <gives another image with a border> Tell it to create the image to to the edge and add nothing else <another version with a border> Beg for a borderless version <Sorry, you have reached your maximum number of images for the day, please try again tomorrow> Another example of a recent chat with it: Please give me a list of books, films, and TV shows that are centered around hypnosis and/or hypnotherapy for me to review <gives list including mention of single episodes in shows where it's covered but isn't in the rest, the Simpsons for example> Remind it I want to review full books, movies or shows. Not single episodes. <suggests a show where 'several' episodes are related to what I want> Clarify I'm wanting recommendations of stuff where hypnosis/hypnotherapy is central to the core of the book, film, or show in full, not in part. <Gives stuff like 'although not directly connected hypnotherapy or hypnosis, this covers similar themes...'> It doesn't matter how specific I get, it just ignores what it's told. I think AI will be a great tool at some point, but that point is still a long way off. I'm just amazed that people are using AI as replacement web search engines, knowing how bad AI is at following instructions and/or just making shit up, I just don't get why people think this is a good idea. </rant>

I had something similar. I tried to get an image of two people sharing a bed with their pillows on opposite sides of the bed (sleeping head next to other person's feet). I prompted and reprompted and explained but never got a correct image). Some limitations of AI when you're asking for something unusual maybe.
