That is very exciting! I will be there
One “Keep Christ in Christmas” bumper sticker away from a nervous system spiral
I’m going to be honest. This Christmas was a struggle for me. I’m usually pretty easygoing. Kind. Live-and-let-live. But somewhere between the decorations, the food, the forced cheer, and the excess, I felt… feral. Not in an actual punch-someone way. More like an internal, eye-twitching, “I need to stare out a window for a minute” way. I watched everyone enjoying themselves and thought, Why can’t I get into this? The food didn’t hit. Opening gifts felt strange. Christmas movies felt hollow. The decorations, the waste, the repetition… for what? The birth of the biggest spiritual scandal in history? 😬 When you’ve spent the better part of a year learning how religious stories were shaped, borrowed, edited, and used to control the masses, it’s hard to suddenly slip back into wide-eyed celebration like nothing happened. And yet… here we are. Because Christmas isn’t just a religious event anymore. It’s a family tradition. A memory-maker. A nostalgia machine. It’s love, togetherness, childhood, warmth. Things that matter deeply, even when the original story no longer lands the same way. That’s where I felt stuck. Spiritually homeless between nostalgia and truth. Not wanting to ruin it. Not able to fully believe it. Trying to hold it all without snapping. And yes, every “Keep Christ in Christmas” bumper sticker activated a very sarcastic inner monologue. Not because I hate Christ, but because slogans don’t allow for nuance. Or history. Or personal evolution. Or the reality that some of us are in the middle of a massive unlearning. So here’s my honest question, because I know I’m not alone: ➡️ How did you handle this year’s celebration? ➡️ Did you lean in? Check out? Feel irritated, sad, nostalgic, detached, or conflicted? ➡️ Did it bring comfort… or highlight how much your relationship to religion and spirituality has changed? No right answers. No debating. Just real reflections. Because if you felt a little unhinged, a little tender, or a little lost this year, I see you.

Yes, this year has felt very different. I leaned in with time limits. I put my all into yesterday as it was the first year without my mother in law. So I did it. I have a hard time knowing who is the real me at xmas and who is the role, I’ve never known myself outside of it. Now I am heading to our small cabin on a lake for a few days solo for silence and darkness to write, be with the trees and breathe.
Magdalene Stories
Hello, I guess this is a space to share Mary Magdalene stories. I have two very short stories, but I have to begin with a story about God. It was in the late '70's, I had just learned to meditate. I had a vision/out of body experience where I stood on the edge of the world with God, while watching from my bed. God showed me the universe/Heaven and told me that the lower three levels are physical, the next two are emotional, the last two are mental/spiritual. Later I learned about numerology. There are certain numbers that are not broken down. They are 11, which represents the physical, 22 which represents the emotional, and 33 which represents the mental/spiritual. Not long after, my mind was simi-awake as I slept. I felt Mary Magdalene tell me that we have finished our physical karma and have started our emotional healing. I don't know how I knew that it was MM. About two years ago, I was talking to a friend in private chat on FB. She channels MM. She said that MM had a message for me. Part of the message was to meditate to help me to remember my past lives in the temples. I of course, being of sound mind and hard headed, I started taking classes and reading about MM instead of meditating. Recently, someone else gave me the message to stop studying and go within. I like the way this class starts by going within. 💖

Thanks for sharing. I can relate, I had to read everything, then finally went within. and the direct knowing and connection came through when I finally trusted it. ❤️
When I met her directly
A few years back when I somehow came across the fact that Mary Magdalene’s gospel was omitted from the bible, something immediately shifted and I sat up straight in knowing and also grief. I knew how important this was for myself and all the women I have worked with. So I immersed myself in her and realized how she has always been with me. But when I was in travelling solo in France, at Ste. Marie de la Mer, I “slipped” on a rock by the sea and injured my knee and could not move for a couple of hours, that is when she came to me directly.
