What began as a spark three years ago has continued to grow into something we could not have fully imagined. A community of women feeling the call of Mary Magdalene. A place for remembrance. A place for questions. A place for sisterhood, study, healing, prayer, circles, sacred conversation, and the return of the feminine voice. Some of us arrived through Mary Magdalene. Some through Mother Mary. Some through the Divine Feminine, the Gospel of Mary, the Black Madonnas, the ancient mystery schools, the women who were erased, the wounds we inherited, or the quiet knowing that there had to be more than the story we were given. However you arrived, you are part of what is forming here. And we believe this work is not random. There are women who feel the Magdalene call in their bones before they ever have language for it. There are women who sense that their souls chose a path of remembrance long before they landed in these bodies. There are women standing at the threshold of an initiation in their own lives, feeling that something old is falling away and something sacred is asking to rise. Many of those women are still looking for a place where they can be understood. A place where they do not have to explain the whole ache. A place where they can ask questions, share their experiences, and be met with compassion instead of judgment. That is what we are building here. Not perfection. Not sameness. Not one correct way to believe. A living community strong enough to hold difference, tenderness, grief, awakening, devotion, doubt, curiosity, and the deep work of unbinding what we have inherited. So we are asking for your help. Sisters, We are still reveling in the aftermath of the Magdalene Rising Summit. For six months, this gathering lived in our calendars, our conversations, our late-night messages, our planning documents, our prayers, and our hearts. What you witnessed over these four days was the result of an extraordinary collaboration among colleagues, speakers, volunteers, and women who believed deeply enough in this work to keep showing up for it. But none of it would have mattered without you. You took time out of your lives to be present. You rearranged schedules, joined from different time zones, listened with open hearts, asked thoughtful questions, and allowed yourselves to receive. We are genuinely humbled by the number of people who chose to show up for themselves and for one another. And yes, we hit what felt like every possible technical problem at once when we opened the summit on the first day. For a few minutes, the machinery had apparently decided to stage its own initiation ceremony. 😅 But even in that moment, we felt guided by Mary. And we felt held by this community. You were gracious. You were patient. You were encouraging and kind. Instead of feeling judged while we found our footing, we felt surrounded by women quietly saying, We are here. Keep going. That changed everything. At one point, I looked out at the sea of faces on Zoom, and I felt nothing but love. There was no fear of speaking. No fear of saying the wrong thing. No need to perform or prove anything. I even threw out my script, the very script that is supposed to keep me safely on track, because I felt such a strong pull to speak from my heart and become fully present with you. Carrie and Linda have both shared that they felt the same thing. Something happens when women feel safe enough to stop presenting and begin speaking from the soul. We remember that we can do anything when we stand together. So please keep telling your stories. Keep sharing what brought you here, what opened you, what challenged you, and what you are beginning to remember. Somewhere, another woman is having the same experience and wondering whether she is alone.
