CHALLENGE DAY 2- How's everyone doing?
Day 2 is here. How is your challenge coming along? I understand fitness can be complicated and frustrating. That's one of the reasons I posted this challenge. All you have to do is move or exercise for 15-30 minutes each day, and yes, walking for 15 minutes counts. Comment below to show what you have accomplished.

Picked up over 14K steps yesterday. Had a couple delays at work and I spent them getting some damn steps 😁 Just did my regularly scheduled workout today. Shoulder presses, shrugs, rows, hip abductors, and planks. Oooo, also had to shovel the driveway 😂 Definitely counts as exercise when you’re older!
A December to Remember Challenge
I have a challenge for everyone. Since it is the holiday season, and delicious foods are plentiful, I propose a small movement challenge. This challenge will be for the entire month of December. The Challenge is simple: - 15-30 minutes of Cardio and/or Resistance training - You have to log your workouts through general discussion. This can encourage others to join in - Day 1 will be a benchmark for how much you are able to do in that timeframe - Day 31 will show how much improvement you made - The cardio/resistance training is your choice - You can use the Workouts provided in the classroom, or workouts of your choice, as long as you record it everyday - It is optional to provide an appropriate body pic of your start day and the final day. This can show you how much change you went through. The same applies to recording bodyweight Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Work hard. Improve yourself. Be the Hero. You got this.

DAY 1- Just the start
Has anyone started on the Challenge for this month? It's alright if you haven't, I dropped the ball on letting people know ahead of time, so I apologize. I have faith that yall can beat this challenge. Be the Hero. You got this.

I currently work out every other day. Been doing this for well over a year without fail. I’ll step it up and hit some cardio on my off days even it’s walking my stairs at the house for 15 minutes. Pumped for the challenge! Who’s with me? Come on fuckers!

Also love your tag line of, Be the Hero. We truly are in control of our destiny. We can become unstoppable when we realize that! So powerful 👊
This might help your Cardio
Cardio can get overwhelming, especially if we get to the point of huffing and puffing and needing to catch our breath. It's not a bad thing, especially if you are just starting out or juat getting back into exercise. How I overcame this issue is by breathing through just my nose for at least the first half of my cardio session. I call this pure nasal breathing. Why would this work? It's pretty simple. You start training your body to use oxygen more efficiently. Learning to do this will also help you recover faster after your session. If you are only starting with just 10-20 minutes of cardio, just do cardio at a pace that is still challenging, yet allows you to breath just through your nose for the first half, then finish as you normally would. Over time, you can use this technique for 60%, then 75%, then eventually 100% of your cardio session.
