🏆 Weekly Challenge #22: Check-In & Close 📝
This week, we reflect on February (yep, it's already almost over!) and we make sure to do one more good run. Whether you’ve been participating in this month’s Time on Feet challenge or not, this is your moment to look back and close the month intentionally. ✅ RULES: 1️⃣ Complete at least one run this week (or walk if injured) 2️⃣ Then, write a post, including a screenshot of your final run, AND reflect on February by sharing: 🔹 What went well 🔹 What didn’t go as planned 🔹 One thing you learned 💭 If you joined the Time on Feet challenge, reflect on how that went and whether you’re close to or hit your goal. If you didn’t participate, simply reflect on your February running. 3️⃣ Everyone who completes a run and shares their reflection will be entered into the weekly spot prize draw. One winner will be chosen at random. 🎁 Prize: Active Root Gift Card! ($15) 👉 Complete your run, share your reflection, and let’s wrap up February strong 💙

🏆 Monthly Challenge #5: Time on Feet ⏱️
WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED MARCH 02! Your challenge this month: set a total running time-on-feet goal for February and work toward it week by week. This is about steady effort, not pace or distance. Time on feet is one of the most reliable ways to build fitness and endurance. ✅ Rules 1️⃣ Post one comment to set your goal (total time-on-feet running in February, walking if injured) using this format: [Your Name – Goal] | 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: Caroline – 12 hours 2️⃣ Post weekly updates as new comments in this same thread, using this format: [Your Name – Update 1] [Your Name – Update 2] [Your Name – Update 3], and so on. You should have at least 4 by the end. 3️⃣ Each update should include your cumulative running time so far. 4️⃣ Everyone who completes their weekly updates will be entered into the monthly spot prize draw. Whether you achieve your goal or not. It's about showing up. 🎁 Prize: a pair of NEW running shoes! 🤕 Injured, sick, or dealing with a niggle? Mention this in your [Name - Goal] comment and walk instead. Don’t push yourself into injury just to hit a number. A pinned comment below shows an example of how to post your goal and weekly updates. 👉 Drop your goal in the comments and check in weekly as you build through February 💙

Loretta-I’m being cautious as I build back into running after a niggle. So I’m not setting hard goals because I need to be able to listen to my body. I know if I have a goal it’s harder for me to listen. So I’m going by feel everyday. I’m not putting anything on my racing schedule either just to keep to pressure off so I don’t build too quickly:)

It’s a cool sweatshirt!
What are the running rules that you've made up for yourself?
Like, always finishing on a complete mile/kilometer. Or you always run in shorts. Or you only run in pink shoes. Oooor maybe you don't allow yourself to run below a certain pace? I'm sure there a few fun rules among us here. Share them in the comments!

@Caroline Claassen it’s funny how when I don’t think about it how suddenly after the run clear ideas pop into my mind.

What's new in gear? Apparel you'd like to try? Shoes you wish you could give a go? Gadgets you wish dropped on your doormat? Or... maybe even fuel or nutrition? Let us know in the comments. I'll share my finds below! ⬇️

@Caroline Claassen proform Boston marathon. The features is what got me and less dependence on ifit. I’m excited for run free and the side to side movement to replicate trail running. They gave me a headwind fan and wahoo heart rate monitor with my purchase and got it 25 percent off.
