Video 5 - Stop Guessing Assignment as a cash PT in the outpatient ortho setting that graduated in 2011
] Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is the importance of having a system to bring in new clients and work smarter instead of harder. The constant hustle will cause burnout - already feeling stressed. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is making sure I make time to work on the business instead of just in the business.
Video 4: Profit is Created Assignment as a cash PT in outpatient Ortho with almost 15 years experience
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is improving my sales ability with continue to help transform lives. I really resonated with the quote "If I can't demonstrate my value, that person will get in adequate care or even worse, unnecessary surgery." Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is convincing people why I am different before they walk in my door. As soon as I get them in my office, they clearly see the difference, but so many people have had PT and "failed" it. I have an extensive list of things I ask them, which helps, but I think I just need to get more confident in sales. I am already getting over the guilt of charging people, even though I know they need the care I provide. I think I just need to get the confidence to sell packages instead of just individual sessions. I really liked your explanation about why insurance and traditional PT fails - because it's designed to treat the short term problem, not the root cause. I am going to add that to my explanation. I already wholeheartedly know why the system fails people, but this is a good way to explain it to most.

Video 3: The Income Illusion Assignment as a cash PT in outpatient Ortho with almost 15 years of experience
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is all of your myths validate how I felt prior to making the leap. I had so much self doubt, but also knew I didn't need to have a lot of money to get started. I am a great clinician and I am smart enough to do research to learn how to do the business side. It's been an adventure, but I almost wish I would've done it sooner. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is continuing to conquer self doubt. As things get easier, it scares me and I also want to stay on top of the business side of things so I don't burn out and make sure I work smarter instead of harder.

@Krista Parks Thank you! It's been an adventure, but I am proud of how far I have come in such a short amount of time because I see the impact I am making in people's lives. :)
📍START HERE: Why Are You Here?
Before every course I take, before every big event, before anything I know could change my life—I do this one thing. A mentor once told me: “Never walk into a room where you’re meant to grow without first deciding why you’re walking in.” That advice stuck with me. Because without clear intentions, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, distracted, or even give up. But when you write them down first, it becomes a Filter. You don’t just watch content — you hunt for what matters to you. So that’s what I’m asking you to do right now. 👉Comment below and answer these 3 questions: - Why did you join this community? (What caught your attention? What made you say, “I need this”?) - What are you hoping to learn or change here? (Think big picture — mindset, income, lifestyle, skillset, etc.) - What’s the #1 question on your mind right now? (What’s keeping you stuck, curious, or needing clarity?) 💡This is more than just a comment. It’s your first real move. When you write this out, you’ll find that your mind starts paying closer attention to what matters most to you. I’ll be reading every comment. Let’s go.

Here to make sure I continue to work smarter and not harder so I don't burn out as a new business owner of a cash PT practice :)
Video 2 assignment - The Cash DPT Rookie Assignment as a cash PT in outpatient ortho almost 15 years out of school
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is importance of marketing and business skills to make sure I’m successful. I’m an excellent clinician and doing well so far but I fear it’s beginner’s luck. Could also just be my business anxiety. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is continuing to get people in the door. It’s hard to weed out what’s legit and going to work for marketing and website SEO. I get so much spam and struggle to figure out where to focus my time with marketing.

@Max Zirbel - thank you for understanding that it's best to work with people that have similar goals and mindsets. I tried to tell that to someone else I attempted to work with and they continued to try to convince me that they were the way to go and in my gut, it just wasn't aligning with who or what I am about. My main goal in the future is to have an assistant, but I won't to remain the sole provider and not be a CEO of a company. I love treating and being a PT. I am a natural healer and it's what I am meant to do. I just want to make sure I don't get burnt out in the process.
