After 25+ years, I've seen clients thrive on every diet...omnivore, plant-based, low carb, carnivore all of it. Any diet can work. The key is understanding how to make it work for YOUR body, no matter what diet you're on. Here's what I will be covering in Lesson #1 for Food: - Why you can't out-exercise a bad diet and why nutrition is non-negotiable for both healing and weight loss - The truth about eating less vs starving yourself (big difference) and how it allows your body to heal - How to be sure you are properly nourished while also reaching your ideal weight - What macros actually are (protein, carbs, fat) and what each one does for your body - How to find YOUR ideal macro ratio by looking at your height, weight, goal weight, activity level, and what you enjoy eating - A real client story someone who had me, coaches, and every resource available, and it still took over a year to dial in the right macro ratio. They saw results on the wrong macros, but couldn't stick with it. So even if you see results, if you're not enjoying it and it's not aligned with your preferences, it's probably not the right approach for you. What I've learned is that the diet you enjoy is usually what's best for you. You can't force yourself into something that doesn't fit and expect it to stick long-term. This lesson will give you the foundation to understand what works for your body and how to begin to implement it.
