Why Most Weight Loss Fails (And What Actually Works)
If you want to lose weight permanently, you cannot follow someone else’s plan. Your body, your lifestyle, your culture, your schedule, your family dynamics, your likes and dislikes all matter. You are not your sister. You are not your neighbor. You are not your partner. Most people struggle because they try to copy strategies that were never built for their real life. High-level results come from high-level customization. Permanent weight loss only happens when we look at the whole picture and build a strategy that actually fits your life instead of forcing your life to fit a plan. This is the work that changes everything.

Why Most Weight Loss Fails (And What Actually Works)
Let’s Talk About Making Health Goals Stick
I’m going live later today to talk about why most New Year goals don’t stick, and how focusing on metabolic health instead of pushing harder can help prevent burnout and create a plan that actually lasts. If you’ve ever started the year motivated and felt exhausted a few weeks later, this will be a helpful conversation.

@Sam Cat Yes, we all have to be active for our optimal health. There was a time I couldn’t even walk for over a year and I was told I’d never run again and now I can. I’m grateful every day that I get to be active. That’s why it’s so important to find movement you actually enjoy instead of pushing through workouts we dread. And the older we are, the less effective intense workouts are. And with fasting, like I share in my videos, this isn’t something we do constantly. It’s occasional. When you find a rhythm with food you enjoy and movement you can maintain, weight loss becomes easier and more sustainable. When we push too hard, our body responds by slowing down and becoming resistant to weight loss.

@Sam Cat yes, I often will have my clients split up their activity throughout the day and it helps with blood sugar issues. You can check out the micro workouts lesson in the curriculum where I talk about this. It can be a lot more sustainable and enjoyable then a long gym workout. For example, a incline walk in the morning, light weights in the afternoon, and some calisthenics in the evening, all 15 minutes is a lot more doable and enjoyable then a long gym workout when your day is busy. And try not to look at it as a diet because that signals restriction and impermanence. Find a way to integrate this into your life permanently and in a way that is manageable. I am here to help.

A Better Foundation for Health, Energy, and Weight Loss
This is a short New Year check-in with a brief explanation on why so many health goals don’t stick, and how focusing on metabolic health changes energy, hormones, and long-term weight maintenance. If you’ve ever felt motivated in January and burnt out a few weeks later, this will give you a different way to think about your strategy. My goal for this group isn't to give you a quick fix. It's to help you build a strategy that's aligned, joyful, and sustainable for life. No deprivation or burnout. Just a plan that actually works with your body instead of against it. If you need support with that or feel confused, I invite you to book a free call with me to get clear on the next steps to take. https://calendly.com/mychefjessica/whole-body-strategy-call In the meantime, check out this video. Drop a comment if you have questions about metabolic health or anything I cover in the video. Looking forward to connecting with you all more this month!

@Sam Cat thank you, let me know if you have any questions!! Hope the New Year is going good with your goals.
Happy New Year + What We’re Focusing on This Month
Happy New Year! For January, we’re going to be talking a lot about metabolic health. Not dieting or restriction, and not trying to force your body into something it can’t sustain, but actually understanding how your body works and how to support it so weight loss and energy stop feeling so frustrating. I’ll be sharing teachings throughout the month around things like why weight loss often feels harder as we get older, why food feels so confusing for so many people, and what actually supports metabolic health long term in real life. My goal here is simple: clarity and to get away from the confusion. If there’s something you’ve been confused about when it comes to food, your metabolism, or weight loss, feel free to share it below. That will help guide what I teach first. I’m looking forward to diving into this with you.
