Tongue-Twister Challenge
Well, since so many of you enjoyed the idea of the tongue-twister challenge, let’s test the waters 😄 We’ll kick things off with a classic one. Yes, there is a longer version, and no, we’re not doing that (yet 😅). Here it is 👇 “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” Ok..I’ll record a video saying it three times in a row: first slow, then medium speed and finally fast (wish me luck Lol) Now your mission! ------------------------------ Record a video saying it 3 times in a row and drop it in the comments. If you’re on the shy team, no worries! Send an audio instead. No perfection. Some laughs guaranteed. Possibly some tongue injuries (just kidding Lol) Let’s have some fun. Be brave. Let’s go! 🚀 @Shane Peterson @Constance Tuballes @Gulistan Asan @Serge Gray

@Magic Yuan I had the same feeling when I first joined this community and spoke English.
When my daughter told me her goal for Mathematics is 60...
Background: my daughter is nine years old and in her 3rd Grade of elementary school. She got 73 score (100 is the full) in recent Mathematics test. I agreed that this test is more difficult than before. Her teacher asked the parents to do error analysis together with the students at home...(Why this is the homework for parents??) Last night, I helped my daughter to do error analysis on her Mathematics test. Due to 73, so many errors need to be analyzed. At the beginning, she was so cooperated but she lost the patience gradually...here more than three thousands words are waived...finally, I got her. She said her goal on mathematics is getting 60 of 100 on the test ONLY, so she felt 73 was not so bad. She feels GOOD on 73. 60 is the qualified line of the elementary school tests in China. And she also told me her different SPECIFIC goals on different subjects. Suddenly, I didn't know what to say, there was about 5 mins blank time and neither of us said something. Then, I told her: Good, girl! I've never known that you have such a specific goal on the subjects. Keep it and mom will always support you and help you. Maybe you would like to see possible higher goals on someday in the future! I'm wondering: AM I RIGHT/GOOD/APPRORIATE to give this kinda reaction?

My daughter is 8grade now. She has a special attitude.Just compare today’s herself with yesterday. She got low score in 6 grade.(56-150 is full). But she has a major goal”To be an English teacher”.I told her:”sweet heart ❤️,It’s your dream, it’s your wonderful life. But if you don’t defeat the math problem, you can’t go to your favorite university and maybe your dream hard to come true.I respect all your decisions. If you need my help, I am always with you.” Next day, she told me she wanted to try. I told her “Don’t compare yourself with anybody else, make a little progress everyday. Ask a question everyday at school,You will receive an amazing result in the final exam.” Just share my experience with you, don’t worry about this issue. Stable emotion is the most valuable this for our kids.

Sweet and sour spareribs
A signature dish of Hangzhou Cuisine . After settling down in the city of Hangzhou for more than 10 years, I gradually fall in love with Hangzhou Cuisine. Originally I’m from Jiangxi Province, people from this province have a strong sense of preference for spicy food. But I’m not as into spiciness as how I used to be now

my mother tell me, in her childhood, if a child lost her/his mother when she/he got birth, their family would buy goat for that child. She/he drank goat's milk directly from the nipple. Sometimes a goat could feed more than one child.

Sometimes I drink some fresh milk, It tastes a little weird. But my mom love it deeply . Many people say there is bacteria in it. But my mom is 75 years old , and she is very healthy, better that other people in my hometown 😀
