I’m finally going to be able to join the Skool call this week after missing the last few 🎉 Having it on Saturday instead of Friday — and an hour earlier — makes SUCH a difference for me, so I’m really looking forward to catching up with everyone again. One thing that still completely messes with my brain though is the time zones 😂 I can work them out beforehand… but once we’re actually chatting live on the call it always feels so surreal seeing people from all over the world all together at the same time. Some people are waking up with coffee ☕, others are glazing at night 🌙, some are probably still in pyjamas 😆 So I’m curious… ✨ Who’s hoping to join the call tomorrow? ✨ What time will it be for you where you are? ✨ Will you be making while on the call — and if so, what are you working on? It would also be lovely to meet some of our newer Skool members too 💜 Don’t be nervous about joining — everyone is so welcoming. Some more screen printing on my pottery using Amaco Inks💕I’m loving using the Mayco Mesh Screen Printing with the Amaco Inks - it’s so amazing how they can be reused- just wash the ink of after use - I really love them ❤️

Oh my goodness… a memory just popped up from 1st May 2022 and I am CRYING laughing watching it back!! So embarrassing!!! Apparently kiln openings back in 2022 used to involve: 😂 screeching 😂 squealing 😂 dancing 😂 laughing 😂 complete emotional instability 😆 To be fair… I think I’ve calmed down slightly over the last 4 years… …although honestly, maybe not THAT much 😂 The funny thing is, even after all this time, kiln openings still feel magical to me. Waiting for spring mug on it's way.. We do not have many cherry shrubs/trees here, but in my view they give the promise of spring. Maybe they are not correctly depicted by me, in the scraffito, but I like them anyway. This was my first time drawing an image on paper, then copying that to a thin translucent paper, like the one for decals, and then transfering it to the mug tnd lastly do the scraffito. I am pretty happy about the result, so now I have made few other images to transfer on other vessels. This opens up a new way for me because I've freehanded all my scraffitos so far. I also am going to use that paper to try and make my own UG decals. BTW.... I am REALLY waiting for springhere in Iceland. We had a lot of snow, then two nights ago we had a thunder storm, that began with hail, then turned to rain.. power line post broke and there was a lot of power outages here and there, and yesterday it rained all day and still is raining so much of the snow has melted. But... the forecast is for more snow and frost in the coming days.... so the wait continues. This is not unusual for Iceland and May, even June can be pretty cold.
