Trust Is the Shortcut: Why People Say Yes Without Pressure
I launched a brand new piece of software recently. Brand new offer. Not a small price tag. And I started talking about it. What surprised me wasn’t the excitement. It was how little traditional “selling” was required. No webinars. No long sales calls. No heavy persuasion. People just.. said yes. I was talking with my coach about this today, and she said something that stuck. There’s a real shift happening. In a world where almost everything can be fabricated with low effort.. fake accounts, AI bikini models.. trust is becoming scarce. And scarce things become valuable. I don’t think people said yes because the pitch was perfect. I think they said yes because of trust. For the last two years, I’ve made a commitment to post every single day. Consistent daily output. This signals a certain level of organization.. commitment.. stability.. and care. It tells people you’re not going anywhere. And that matters a ton.. especially now. Because in an era of instant unconscious competence via AI.. genuine confidence and consistency stand out. But you can’t shortcut credibility. If you want people to say yes without pressure, do the unscalable thing. Help people for free. Create real value. Stay consistent long enough for trust to compound. It takes time.
